"We had Aire Serv dispatched by our AHS home warranty to fix an AC problem. Our condenser unit outdoors was dead. Wed already had this diagnosed and knew what was involved. They said it was covered, but that we would need almost $1000 worth of not covered modifications to wiring and duct work . That made no sense. We confirmed with the original company and then contacted AHS. In the interim, Aire Serv called and said they had the unit and needed to complete the repairs within a week as per the warranty policy. Of course that turned out to be a lie. AHS suggested that they would have another company look at it. Aire Serv called again demanding that the repair be completed. When they were told that a second company would be looking at the project on behalf of AHS, they flipped and said they were out. As expected, the second repair firm confirmed that their estimate was fraudulent. Avoid them at all costs."

"Three appointments . All three times late and the call to say they were late was after the 4 hour window scheduled time. Rescheduled once, service man came once and he seemed like upstanding guy even though new to the heating business. Still waiting on third appointment to hear from them. Not sure if ?they are working on people who have no heat? is going to be the excuse for the third time. The score I would like to give is a 1 star for whoever makes the appointments and calls when they are late and 4 stars for the one service guy who we have seen so far."

"We called Aire Serv out as our AC line was freezing and the air was not coming out cold. The tech who came out told us we need a new evaporator coil, and we have rust in the unit also. We asked what we could do in the meantime so we could stay in the house, he said he could put refrigerant in but we shouldn't cause it's expensive and it would just leak out. We decided to put it in anyway and see if we made it til the new coil got here. We were then informed that the cost of the coil and labor would be $1900 out of pocket and that was after the home warranty. We decided to get a second opinion (our AC was still working fine after three days). We had Elite come out and the tech informed us that there was a small leak in the coil, it didn't need replacing, just tightening and there was no rust. I run a dog sitting business out of my home and I had to cancel dogs for this week because I didn't know if the air would be working. They also charged $389 for 3lbs of refrigerant. I would find a different company, they do not care for customers at all!"
