"The project went wonderfully. Miroslaw responded to my request within a half hour. He came out in 3 days and was prompt, courteous, and respectful. He gave me two quotes for the job--one if he could pull the new 10gauge wire through existing conduit and another if he had to install all new conduit. Unfortunately, the prior electrician abandoned my 220V line and we could not locate the conduit. So, Miroslaw had to run all new conduit down from the roof, 3 1/2 stories to the basement. He finished the project in a day, which was very impressive. The holes he had to cut in my plaster walls look like a surgeon did them; he was meticulous and tailored his cuts to just what he needed, making my plaster repair easier. Miroslaw also identified mistakes the previous electrician made. He explained them and charged me a nominal amount to fix them right then and there. Finally, Miroslaw kept the final price to the lower of the two quotes, even though he could have charged me for the more expensive one. He worked efficiently for 7.5 hours. I gave him coffee and water. I caught him eating his sandwich for lunch while he was working! He's hardworking, honest, friendly, and his work is great. "Wojtek did a fantastic job on our new electrical panel! He gave a fair estimate, told me exactly how long it would take, and finished on time. After the job was complete I called him regarding another concern I had which I thought was related to the work he did. He promptly responded and ended up replacing a bad switch (which was not at all related to the work he did) at no cost. Wojtek is a complete professional who has clearly mastered his craft. "Although it was a little tough to connect in the beginning (due to summer rush and holiday weekend), once Maria and I connected, things went very smoothly.
She came to my house, measured and provided a quote in a very timely manner.  
I had to go through my HOA, and she was quite helpful. Providing the drawings and contacting J.U.L.I.E. as required by the HOA (and even coming out a second time to get additional details requested by the HOA).
We had set a tentative installation date (pending HOA approval) and were lucky that the HOA approval was received in the nick of time and the weather held out.
The crew showed up on time and worked tirelessly all day to complete the job. When they ran out of bricks, they went back out to buy more.  Maria  was there the entire time overseeing the work.  At one point we had an issue with the level of the patio where the base of the steps and the side of the house were out of sync (huge downward slope).  She noted the issue and provided a sound recommendation which I approved. At the end of the day, they cleaned up the entire area.  They had carefully removed sod, mulch and some of my plants to install the brick patio and when they were done installing, they replaced the sod, mulch and even replanted my flowers.  Impressive!!  Everything washed up (even the handprints on the staircase) and clean.  They were also very careful with the surrounding area.  I live in a townhouse and they used wheel barrels to bring in all the materials.  They were careful not to destroy any of the common area.  This is a huge plus and greatly appreciated.  
Overall, it was a very positive experience and I highly recommend LDP.  I love my new patio - even though it is small, it adds a whole new room for me outdoors.  Wish I could add pictures, it turned out great!!"

"Along with the work described in the Big Deal, he also installed an exterior light fixture over my porch. The work was fair but it still needs some additional work to correct a minor flaw that allowed snow to blow under the base of the globe. The base doesn't fit flush against the wall and there is a small opening. Apparently that is not something that they can repair, so I have to have someone else out to do that work. He was also late in arriving to my home."

"From the outset Ludwik was extremely professional. He came to my house to do a free estimate and explained the requirements for the new service according to code. He also reviewed the probable timeline of completion. I was initially somewhat frustrated that he would not offer even ballpark ranges for the work envisioned. He has an old-world sense of propriety about "how things should be done." After receiving other estimates, however, I perceived that Ludwik electric was offering high quality service at affordable rates and Ludwik's sense of the "appropriate" also translated into high caliber customer service and worker accountability. Ludwik's estimate was $820,00 lower than another highly rated electrical service on Angie's List. Moreover, he actively courts customer satisfaction. Two accommodations were particularly meaningful to me. Ludwik asked me about appliances that required electricity across the installation period (refrigerator/s, freezer/s, etc.) and offered to make arrangements to keep them supplied. In addition, he arranged for my wireless network router to have electricity, so my home computer network remained functional and didn't require re-programming. I really appreciated these arrangements. His workers were introduced by name (so there were no anonymous strangers drifting through the house). Each person was neat, task-focused, and friendly. All work was completed on schedule and every bit of wire or construction refuse was cleaned up and discarded. Ludwik brings decades of experiences as an electrician to his clients and takes pride in doing a fine job for each. I had delayed this installation for years because I dreaded the likely disruptions; instead, Ludwik and his crew made this experience reasonably easy. I even requested an estimate for some additional future work -- a real compliment -- because I now envision such being tolerable! Truly I recommend Ludwik and his company heartily. He did a superb job. I finally have found "my electrician.""
