"Great service. Eddie Cox come out on a Monday and told me what the worker would do. The worker came out on Wednesday on time both days and did and amazing job. The worker clean up all concrete you would never know they were there.I live in LaPlata had to get permission to widen the end of my driveway. You would never know that that they touch my driveway it look beautiful. I call several concrete companies in Charles county and these company were rude and took week to call me back. One companies I call still waiting for a call back. But thank to 7th State Builders, LLC I got the job done and excellent job. Due to a stroke I had the driveway widen to give me more freedom. The price quoted was fair and reasonable compared to other quotes we received but the quality and type of both the porch and fence was definitely above par by comparison. We truly enjoy our new privacy but the new porch you built put the entire job over the top, it has changed the entire front of our house. This company did a wonderful job.  The gentleman who did the work was very good and thorough...almost too thorough.  The dry wall tape on the ceiling in our garage was coming down, and we had a leak coming from somewhere around our windows into the interior.  We planned to have him caulk around the front windows and repair the areas on the garage ceiling where the tape was coming down, and then do some minor spackling in the house.  Three hours seemed reasonable for this work.

What was great:  The handyman was very polite, knowledgeable and careful.  He found our leak and caulked two of our windows on the second floor to stop it.  He totally re-cemented and taped our garage ceiling and it was a solid and careful repair.  He was clearly skilled in all things handyman!  It was easy and convenient to get an appointment, they were responsive and came when they said they would.  They absolutely did a quality job, which is the most important thing when you're trying to get home repairs done.  I would have trusted him to do more work.

What was not so good:  Minor things, but I am picky.  This is a franchise, and the owner gets some services from the parent corporation, running up the price.  The special was already a bit more than what I would normally pay, the price for additional hours was $90, which I would never have paid if I could have helped it.  Also, the gentleman did not have basic materials with him, so he could not complete the caulking because I did not have enough caulk on hand.  He fixed the leak, but other windows could have used caulking as well.  I would have expected him to have caulk or alert me that I would need to provide it.  Also, he went to town on the garage ceiling and redid the whole thing.  He did a great job, but I didn't expect him to do the whole ceiling which was very time-consuming and required us to go over the hours in the special.  Then we didn't have time for the spackling I'd hoped to have him do. I would have liked him to evaluate the job before starting and tell me that he would need to do the whole thing.  Also, the owner always sounds like she's trying to rush you off the phone, or doesn't really want to be talking to you. I was shocked to find out she was the owner.

So, my advice is to try this company but communicate in detail at every step.  Tell the owner (who handles the phone) what you expect to get accomplished in the time allotted and do a pre-work walkthrough to be sure there will not be any surprises.  You will be very happy with their work.

"The finished result was impeccable.  I couldn't be happier with how it looks.  The painters also did an excellent cleanup after they finished.  The only problem was a miscommunication between Mr. Hernandez and me. He and I originally agreed that his crew would do the work on August 18.  When nobody showed up, I phoned Mr. Hernandez, who told me he had moved me to August 19, saying he had left me a message to that effect earlier. I could find no such message in my e-mail or on my answering machine.

"We had hail damage to our roof and siding, and some wood damage to the front porch, bay window and garage door due to age and poor maintenance. EA Roofing and Siding basically replaced/repaired the entire exterior of our home. It was such a pleasure to work with TJ and Tony - they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything. They replaced the roof, checking for any hidden damage along the way. They replaced the damaged boards at no additional cost to us. They also replaced all soffit and flashing on the house.
After the roof came the siding. They removed the old aluminum siding, wrapped the house with an additional layer of insulation and installed the beautiful new vinyl siding. (The house is so much quieter now!) When the siding was complete, they installed new gutters with leaf guards, new downspouts and replaced the shutters.
The company also rebuilt our wrap around front porch, replacing old wooden railing with vinyl railing. Originally, they thought they would just wrap the existing support posts with vinyl, but it turned out the interior of the supports provided by the builder were cheap aluminum and not the wooden 4X4s they expected to find. At no additional cost to us, EA Roofing and Siding replaced the metal posts with the proper supports, and then covered them with vinyl. We also had a bay window in the back of the house that needed repair. They completely rebuilt it using vinyl materials. They both turned out beautiful and maintenance free!
TJ also helped us design a deck on the back of the house. They built a beautiful deck with composite decking and vinyl railing. To make the deck area look even better, they painted the patio door and installed a new screen door for us.
Additional work to our home included replacing our old wooden garage door with a new insulated aluminum garage door, complete with a new opener; painting the basement wall around the entire house exterior; relocating and replacing the outside lamp post and replacing all exterior light fixtures; repainting the front door to match the new shutters and changing out all the old door hardware with new; fixing a crack in the concrete front porch foundation; and just to complete the look, replacing the old doorbell with a new one.
Again, this company is such a pleasure to do business with! They strive to exceed your expectations and will do whatever it takes to be sure you are happy with the job. They are fair, honest and provide excellent quality materials and work. When we need any work done on our home’s interior, we will not hesitate to call them to do the job. You will not go wrong if you choose them to work for you!

"Gentlemen arrived when scheduled and did what looks like a decent job pressure washing. Charged me an extra $90 for the stairs. Paid with credit card when I thought they were finished. After payment gentleman informed me someone would be back next week to apply clear sealer. Nowhere in any of the ads or emails I received before service does it say anything about there being a week between services. It should of let me know this beforehand."
