"I am having a truly unpleasant experience with 7th State Builders. I paid 14,450.00$ deposit in good faith. They were contracted to rebuild my deck, place a roof structure and screen on the deck. I trusted that they would complete the work. Instead, they took my money and one year later had not even started on the project. Not only did they fail to perform the agreed-upon services for the deck, but I was forced to hire an attorney to try and recover my deposit. Which I haven?t yet (over one year). Thus, creating unnecessary expenses to an already frustrating situation. I would strongly advise against using this company. Steve also gave us great suggestions to our original design and we are extremely happy. I love the white exposed wood with beams on deck. We originally wanted a ceiling and he convinced us to leave it exposed whereby saving money. I’m writing this review after two years!! So that should say enough! (Pictures attached)"

"Pavers are fine however no weed barrier added and the flower beds ended up with more grass in it than our lawn. Looks worse than what we originally had."
