"I can't stress those reading this enough to never use Corwin for any type of work. My experience from them the past few weeks has been nothing short of the worst customer service of any sort I have ever experience. They were subcontracted by my contractor to do the framing and drywall for a basement job. The first 3 weeks and basically 90% of the work had been ok. The last 4 weeks have been nothing short of miserable. There was one area or ceiling left to finish which I paid the day they were allegedly done. That was a terrible move on my part because they were not done at all and left the ceiling an unfinished mess. This isn't even getting into the $6000 in overages they charged me for work that was agreed upon before the job even started. Yes, there was some additional work that was requested as the job progressed. But when I saw the newly updated quote with an additional $6k, I was shocked. But after some discussion and a few hundred dollars knocked off, I still paid them their balance only to be sitting here weeks later with an unfinished portion of ceiling and a newly noticed not plum window opening that Corwin tried to say they were not at fault then tried to blame their laborers. Now fast forward to late last week when I spoke to the owner who agreed to pay me back a sum of money that we agreed upon due to the issues at hand. I then get an email telling me their lawyer will reach out to me. What an absolute joke of a company and I will gladly take this to court. DO NOT USE CORWIN. "Terrific experience, terrific work. Dorian is an absolute pro. He started work quickly after we accepted the quote, and was careful to protect our floors, ducts, and nearby furniture from any dust. Efficiently worked through two rooms (including skylights and closets) and a hallway, taping, mudding, and cornering. Built out the corners, and patiently explained his process around the corner bead when I expressed curiosity. Worked in the heat — and it was hot! — just to protect our A/C system. Was kind and considerate throughout, always punctual, and a pleasure to talk to. We’re thrilled with the work — the skylights especially were going to be a challenge, but he and his crew really took the time to do them right. Can recommend without any reservations, Dorian is a great guy doing great work."

They took out damaged drywall from two rooms that was caused by seasonal shifting in my home's structure, installed new insulation, replaced the drywall with expansion joints, and painted the three walls that had been damaged. They took great care to contain the dust from sanding the drywall joint compound and did a thorough cleanup. They arrived on time, kept me informed, and did what they said they were going to do in the time estimated to complete the project.
