"Requesting a quote from and then hiring Illinois Tree Service was quick and easy. Their quote was the same as another large operation in town, but they didn't need to bring massive equipment into the yard as the other company had in the past. A large crew of men worked safely and efficiently for about six to seven hours to remove both old cottonwoods and grind their stumps. They cleaned up beautifully as they worked and left the yard free of sticks and branches. I would highly recommend them."

We reviewed the work to be done, and as they began the removal of the front shrubs, we were able to supervise the trimming of the large trees in back as they worked. They were friendly, competent, and were able to work around some obstacles to the shrub root removal. "I initially called another Angie's List tree service and they contacted Meca because they either were not in my area or could not service me in my timeframe.  Maria promptly called me and explained the referral came from the company I initially called.  I explained what I needed.  I asked if they were on Angie's List and Maria said they were.  They came out immediately and called me with an estimate. I asked for their insurance coverage and Maria promptly faxed the information to me. I called the following week and we agreed on a date in the same week and they arrived on time. The gentleman assessed the area and also provided me a copy of their insurance documents. He asked me exactly what I wanted trimmed. Unfortunately, they forgot their ladder but I had an extension ladder for them to use.  They had a team that worked quickly and efficiently. I came out once to see how they were doing and they asked me if I was satisfied with their work. They cleaned up all the shavings as well as those in my neighbor's yard and the alley.The trimming provided much needed light and their price was just right.

"The quote request from Angie's List was responded to the same day by this company. The price was very reasonable and better than an earlier quote we had. We contracted immediately. They showed up when they were expected, and the team reviewed which exact trees were to be removed, I have quite a few in my yard. They had the first two down quickly, then started on the larger one near the house. They did a terrific job removing the limb over the house, and never touched the house as they came down. The team did a terrific job in total, and cleaned up the yard, it was actually better cleaned than before they started. Stumps were all ground down, and the mulch will go nicely around our house this spring."

"The provider arrived early in the morning and continued to work through the rain. The tree stumps were removed within 4 hours. Cleanup was a little messy due to the  rain and mud. Overall, I was satisfied with the completion.
