"I contacted M and J roofing about a leak. Lous response was quick and after inspecting my roof responded with urgency. I had many roofs installed over the past several years none of which seem to work due to the pitch. The most recent roof I put on was a metal roof, which was the source of many of the problems. After Lou inspected it he told me what needed to be done and after agreeing on the contract he started immediately. They are prompt and professional and both him and his son Nick are two of the kindest human beings I ever met. They told me they'd be here at 8:00 a.m. and they were here before that, they started at 8:00 and we're done by the end of the day. Lou and Nick kept me posted each step of the way and during the removal of the metal roof they showed me what went wrong and explained why it went wrong. In short it was because of companies or people that install roofs that don't care about their work that care about ripping off unsuspecting customers. That is why in closing I will say M and J roofing should be the only and I am stressing only company anybody should want to do any work on their roof."

"Working with L&L was a very positive experience.  They were professional and responsive throughout the entire process.   A previous contractor failed to properly flash the chimney when he  installed a metal roof.  As a result, a signification amount of water was coming into the building. L&L fixed this issue in a timely matter and the quality of work was excellent. "A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

"I have a 1914 house with a low pitch tin roof over a sun porch. A leak developed, but despite close inspection I could not find a puncture or crack or a split in any seam. Joe responded quickly and proposed a membrane roof. He offered a low cost sealant, but warned me it would only last 2 or 3 years. I chose the low cost temporary fix; the job was done very quickly involving a special sealing paint over every seam, and followed by a heavy coating of a watertight sealing material. It was done in less than 1 day. The next two days it rained ... no leaks. I know I will be hiring J Corrigan again in a year or two for a membrane roof, but for now all's good."

"First off, the guys that do the actuall roofing work, do a great job, impressive to watch, and real quality. So why 3 stars? Because Chris, owner and spokesperson for Rising Star, deserves 1 star. Chris is the stereotypical salesperson; tell the customer whatever they want to hear, to get their signature on the dotted line. This is especially important to note, if you&apos;re looking to hire Rising Star because of other reviews, and are planning on filing an insurance claim. He&apos;ll start by telling you that he&apos;ll handle everything, easy as pie. What this really means is, he&apos;ll guide you along the way, because the insurance company is only going to want to deal with the policy holder, so actually it&apos;s you that will be doing the handling. It&apos;s also important to note; because of his, "tell them whatever they want to hear" personality, every time you speak with him, will be like the first time. He won&apos;t remember what he said the time before, and will instantly go into telling you whatever he thinks you want to hear today. And what he thinks you always want to hear is, all is good, no matter what roadblock the insurance company has thrown in front of you, it&apos;ll all work out in the end. And what he really means by that is, no matter the outcome, in the end, Rising Star will make a profit! Would I recommend them? Depends. If you&apos;re filing an insurance claim, and are totally clueless about the process, yes, as long as you go in with your eyes fully open. Looking to hire for a straight roofing job, probably not. I&apos;m sure there are any number of companies out there that also do quality work, will do it for a better price, and won&apos;t tell you the sun is shining, when it&apos;s actually raining cats and dogs!"

"3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier.
