I gave him a B for punctuality, because he missed our first appointment--but I will give him a pass because it was scheduled shortly after Hurricane Sandy, and I understand everyone's schedules were a little crazy (mine included). However, Glen apologized profusely for the error and fit us into the schedule for the very next day, and arrived promptly at the appointed time. He performed a free inspection, confirmed our suspected evidence of termites, and spent considerable time explaining our treatment options, including the level of safety for our pets and our two-year-old, which we were very concerned about. He even gave us some tips about other kinds of pest control (including spiders, which are abundant in our new house). His advice was very helpful. "I would say they are very expensive. They just keep coming back for more money. So I am not going to use them this year. I have used them for many years but I am getting a little tired of their shenanigans. I will say that they are attentive and they do the job. Basically as far as I can see they are the only people around that do moles so they can charge what they want to and that's not fair. The point is that they come to do something and they will follow up for a month, and you have to re up again. Every time I have to pay them $300 and I am getting tired of this. It just depends on what they are doing. If it is moles it is a continual payments through the summer. Thats where I get a little stingy after awhile. There are a little things you can do on your own to stick in the mole tunnel and it is the same thing the man comes her to do. You can try it. So we are going to try that route, and see if we can do it on our own. For price I am going to give them a low value because I think they are too expensive. They are just taking advantage of being the only kid on the block. Service has to be really good to give people an A. I would not use them again. It is always the same guy, just one person. <br /> <br /> If you knew anything about trying to kill moles you can put something in a mole tunnel and it will kill the mole right there because it is usually one mole that reeks havoc. But then there is another one to take his place and he comes from the woods and starts reeking havoc on your lawn. So this guy comes and checks every now and then to see whats going on."

"They did the inspection to confirm the problem. They installed screening and escape funnels, and returned to inspect the results. Apparently the problem was solved; I say "apparently", since we removed the only bat we ever saw, and we never heard evidence of any other bats. The cost seems a little high for the actual work done."

"We had mice that loved our attic. I called Advanced and they came within two days. They placed what they call RTUs throughout the attic, as well as a few in the garage and basement. They looked around those same areas for signs of mice. They found some, mostly in the attic. Because we have a dog they left information regarding the chemical in the RTUs just in case our dog ingested any and we needed to take him to the vet. They told us to give it three weeks and if we still heard the mice we were to call them. We did still hear the mice after three weeks. We called and they came out again within about two days. They reapplied the treatment at no additional cost. Since then we have not heard any more mice. <br />"

Rather than one of the other companies I received an estimate, that told me to sign now or a $300 discount could not be applied if I took 24 hours to think about it; yes Safeside Chimney a company that doesn’t care what the consumer thinks. They were going to replace three rows and put a chimney cap on for $100 more than All Chimney Sweep & Repair charged me to rebuild the entire chimney and put a cap on. Safeside Chimney never saw that the west side of the chimney had major issues, so they were going to put new bricks on bad bricks. Really?? Imagine how long that would have lasted! So don’t waste your time any longer or let a strong arm tactic make you make the wrong choice. All Chimney Sweep and Repair is your team! ?"
