"Excellent. Nigel and his crew were wonderful. Nigel came over to meet us and to see what we had in mind. He had some great ideas and walk us through them. There was a little bit of trust in this process. We are both engineers and are used to having things spelled out very clearly. Nigel is more of an artist and provided us with rough drawings and it made us a little nervous but my husband and I knew that we weren't artists so we trusted all the reviews that we had read. A month or so before the work started he met us to look at the hardscape options. We were doing xeriscaping. A week or so before he started he stopped by and reviewed the plans. Nigel's business plan is to only have one job that he and his team are working on, so they showed up everyday until it was complete. It was nice not having them jump all around to different jobs. His team is great. Max is the lead that is on-site pretty much the entire time. The time they spent and the detail that they included in design far exceeded my expectations. They put in a nice walkway with steps (we have quite the hill) and lights both in the steps and next to the steps on a sensor They used several different colors of rock and sizes. We also had a retaining wall they installed, the brick they used for the walkway and the wall complimented each other. the plants that he and I chose worked beautifully in his design. He even put some fragrant flowers next to a couple of windows. He was so detailed. The care that they put into laying rock was impressive. I would have just dumped it and raked it around. No, they were on their hands and knees place many of the rocks so they sat just right. It really made a difference. Oh, one other thing, we had left a hedge and a couple of bushes on the side of the house. I came home one day and they were all trimmed and looking better than they had in years! We are considering having them work on the patio in the backyard, but winter's coming so we might do that in the spring."

"I took a broken wood gate/exterior door to Tom to have him give me an estimate to repair it.  The wind had slammed it shut on multiple occasions and split the door making it unusable. <br /> Tom checked it out and told me what the process would be to correct the problem and the cost.  Tom kept me informed along the way and sent me an email with photos of the gate/door when it was completed.  The repair came out better than I expected.  It looks great and unless you knew the history of it, you would never know that the gate/door had been repaired. <br /> I am very happy with Tom's craftsmanship and professionalism and would not hesitate to use or recommend Narrow Leaf. <br />"
