There was also a communication issue between the sales department and the installers on putting on new break metal around the outside of the door. Yes I would use them again but I would confirm everything with the installers before the start and I would make sure they prep the area to protect the property."

"I was very excited to get brand new windows because the old ones were in such a bad state; however, since this was a big job that cost a lot of money, I was nervous at the same time. I can honestly tell you that all of the people I experienced during this process were extremely professional and I would highly recommend them. I purchased the Pella Architectural Series windows. I know that I could have gone with a vinyl or fiberglass window, but I had my heart set on Pella wood windows. These windows are beautifully crafted and have made such a difference to the look of my home, as well as the temperature. My house is so warm now and the look is truly elegant. Everyone that I encountered in this process was warm, organized, and thoughtful. Rob (the salesman) was punctual and sat with me for a few hours designing the plan. I never felt rushed or pressured. He was very patient with the revisions I kept making and even worked with me to save me money. Mike the project manager was great to work with as was Lanie the scheduler. They were always kind and respectful any time I had a question or concern. Finally, I can't say enough about the installers. Ben, Steve, and Bobby were a pleasure to work with. Their skill level is truly amazing. They worked together so well, and got the entire job done in 2 days. They kept the mess to a minimum and thoroughly cleaned up when the job was completed. It was freezing cold out the entire time and the snow was relentless; however, the weather conditions did not stop them. They worked fast and smart and I can't sing their praises enough. "<p>Amos and 3 others showed up promptly at 7:30 on a blustery, windy, cold morning.  He went over everything he was going to do.  He answered my questions.  They used their Equiptor 4000 to catch all debris from the roof tear off.  This is a trash collector( similar to a dumpster) that is at the roof level with a cover over the gutters to prevent debris from following in.  The 4 men quickly removed the shingles, drip edges, and installed ice and water shields around the bottom edges, valleys dormers and chimney.  I asked why they were cutting into the chimney mortar.  Amos said this was to put the flashing in so not water can get behind the flashing and get into the ceiling.  This is a problem I had.  Then they would caulk the flashing.  This was not done in the 2 previous roofing jobs.  </p> <p>After finishing around 4 Pm I expected the workers to be anxious to clean up and leave.  However each worker went over the grounds, gutters and roof to pick up anything they missed in cleaning up.  They found some tar paper, and shingles.  I saw some paper cups by the park entrance next to our house that were put there by walkers.  I was curious as to what they would do.  A worker picked it up and threw it into their dumpster.  they blew the driveway sidewalk, and street free of dust and debris.  They made another round to pick up any lingering metal, nails and other magnetic debris.  </p> <p>left the place cleaner than they found it.  </p> <p>Whole ordeal looked like a barn raising.  We waited about 10 weeks for them to do the work BUT it was WORTH it.</p> <p>Extremely pleased.</p> <p>We picked them because of Angie's list reviews, the fact they offered a 50 year pipe boot (had leakage there too), and ice and water shield in all valleys and dormers.  Other quotes did not mention this.  If they offer this they should state so in their quote  Otherwise others, like me, may think they don't offer the product, or would charge more for this service.  Price included a senior discount.</p> <br />"

"I believe we got what we paid for. We had Install America out for a quote and they originally priced it somewhere around $16,000. But we got a phone call during the winter asking if a senior salesman could stop by to discuss new pricing. He wasn't pushy at all and told us they would do the roof for $10,000 and we were allowed to select from the more superior shingles, which we weren't in the original quote. Our old roof was nearing the end of its life, so we figured we were getting a good deal and decided to go forward with it. The workers showed up later than anticipated on the start day, and when they finally did, there was nothing on their vehicles to let us know that they were with Install America. No logos on the vehicles or clothing...nothing, so it was pretty obvious that it wasn't Install America doing the work but a subcontractor instead. Nobody came to the door to introduce themselves. Outside of us taking the initiative and coming out to meet them, there was no communication with the workers. I couldn't have picked the foreman out if you asked me to. We have a big roof and the work took 2 1/2 days, which was fine. They would have been done in 2 but they didn't order enough shingles. Not a big deal. The biggest issue we had was that they didn't make an effort at all to clean up the nails in our yard and flower beds. I understand if you miss a few, but I walked around after the job was done and picked up 250+ nails. We have 3 kids and a dog. Granted, it was January and they weren't playing outside much, but I was still finding nails 6 months later. My wife called to complain, but she kept getting the run-around with Install America. All this to say that we definitely wouldn't go with Install America again if we had to. There was just a lack of professionalism by the subcontractor and Install America (afterwards, not prior to the work being done). We are satisfied with the finished product, but it just seems as if they were happy to take our money, but didn't care about customer service at all."

"It went great. First, the sales person was very helpful explaining the mold testing and remediation process. He went through the steps that would be taken and then he followed up with the results. On the french drain,/sump pump change out/ wall rebuild, it was quick and painless. Again my sales person was very clear in the process and the steps. When he came for a walk through there were some options in what would occur in the installation and he made fully aware of any potential changes in cost (there were none though). The workers came on time (ok a bit early) and finished early as well. Finally, they were helpful and clear walking through all the changes that occurred and the guarantees given."
