Handy Services Inc. has been in business since 2008 and offers a wide verity of services. We developed our company in a way that can meet most any residential or commercial property needs. We saw a need for clients to have someone that you can call for just about any type of service or repair when needed. When we started out we were managing apartments for landlords and we saw a big problem when we would have to call six different companies to get repairs completed at these properties. So we decided to offer these services as part of our contracts to the property owners. After a bit of time we were able to stream line the processes and make it more affordable to the client. This was done by extensive training, and having the tools and equipment available when needed. In 2011 we branched out to the homeowner and started offering these same services on a one on one basis. During the same time frame we started getting requests from small business owners to offer them the maintenance and repairs at their businesses as well. Over the years we have built and remodeled convenience store, offices and retail locations. We currently service stores like Dunham`s sporting goods, The Kids Place and more. We pride ourselves on have quality employees with clean background records and drug screens. We are a Registered Federal Contractor, and Osha Certified. In addition to our PA Contractor License and Home inspection Certification, we hold a mold abatement license that we utilize for mold testing and abatement. "My landlord hired this company. I'm a renter of the home that Red's Roofing worked on. I was in contact with my landlord about when they would be coming and going to complete the job. They told my landlord they would be here on a Saturday. Then, they showed up on a Friday afternoon, drove their truck onto my lawn and dropped 3 pallets on my lawn- WITHOUT PERMISSION. When I asked the owner if they were coming the following day he said " No, Tuesday" and then drove off. I bit my tongue. Then they showed up Monday afternoon and drove their truck onto my lawn AGAIN to drop and entire trailer hitch in my front lawn next to the pallets. Before I could run outside and tell them to move they drove off. I called and left a message to which they communicated to my landlord that they would buy me fertilizer. Tuesday came and the roof was completed. The workers were very kind but the owner was very rude. They never bought my fertilizer and my lawn was ruined. They didn't do a very good job picking up the nails and I have 2 dogs so I was very unhappy with that as well. Fast forward 3 weeks and they did my neighbors roof. They had to come back twice to correct their mistakes. First they didn't tarp the side of his house and stained in with Tar during the removal process. Then secondly, they never removed the debris from the gutters even though they promised they did. The owner ended up firing someone during the job- talk about a terrible business owner. My neighbor found over 110 roofing nails in his lawn and the neighbors lawn even though they "combed it with a magnet". DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY."
