Originally specializing in all types of window treatments (except shutters), I have developed expertise covering a wide variety of things you need done around the house and can't find anyone to do. I have researched, experimented, and developed reliable techniques for securing heavy objects on the wall--especially framed mirrors 80 to 150 pounds. I take on strange and unique projects and help create custom solutions for perplexing problems. I have restored antiques and keepsakes that soaked in hurricane Katrina's toxic sludge in New Orleans. I have repaired badly broken Boehm porcelain figurines. I built stairs and a bridge over ductwork in an attic after HVAC installers completely blocked access to a family's storage. I work patiently with homeowners who need a little extra understanding and explanation. For design professionals, I will help you complete the realization of your artistic vision. I can provide advance problem solving and measuring. My work has been part of articles in issues of Coastal Living and Birmingham Home and Garden magazines. I was a volunteer with ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Montgomery, AL. I also work in commercial settings with large-quantity jobs or where high quality work is demanded. From plain to frilly, period to modern, from easy to nearly impossible, I thoughtfully tackle every challenge as though I am doing the work in my own home.
