Chad came out within the next few days and looked at my fence. I was expecting to have to replace my entire back fence but Chad recommended I replace several of the support boards running horizontal, he said the post and the rest of the fence was still in good shape. I took his recommendation which saved me considerable money. I also discussed with Chad about replacing both gates. Chad agreed one gate definitely needed replaced but said he could repair the other one and save us some money. I ended up deciding to replace both but it wasn?t because Chad was pushing me to do so. I really appreciated him only trying to fix or replace what was necessary. </p> <p> </p> <p>The work was done within a couple of weeks and I?m very pleased with the way it looks. "All was fine until the end when I received the invoice that included an extra $400 for removal of existing fence that Marty and I did not discuss. Old fence was temporary panels that stake into ground. One of the workers casually asked me if I wanted the temporary fence "taken down" and I said "sure" unaware there was going to be an added charge of $400. There were also 2 areas of new fence that I was not happy with. One area was fixed and the other remains not fixed. Without any further communication, I paid for fence and labor minus $400 for "old fence removal". Assumed area of fence I was not pleased with was off -set with my not paying for the ridiculous amount for what was actually a "pull temporary sections up and stack" which I could have done if it had been communicated to me there was going to be a add-on charge. Just left feeling like Marty Seikel was trying to pull a "fast one" which was uncharacteristic of him due to the impression I had. Since he never made any effort to contact me after the job, I have to submit this because this is how I was left feeling about Seikel Fence Co. Bad last impression, unfortunately."

"If you need a new fence, you need to call these guys. We've had this fence replaced before, but never with the quality we got this time. <br /> The guys showed up and took care of the replacement in two days. First day moving the old one and putting in the new steel poles, then second day installin the fence. <br /> They went though and planted the poles, and because of the bedrock in our yard, all the poles did not exactly align. They came back the next day and trimmed the two or three inches off a couple of the poles so they were all exactly the same height. <br /> <br /> The gate they installed is like no other I've ever had. I can swing it open effortlessly. <br /> They even helped us manage a total of four dogs in our yard and our neighbors so they didnt get out in the street. <br /> Extra effort, attention to detail. Worth every penny. <br />"
