"The lawn is always edged and weed-whacked, and they get right up close to things like inset flower beds.  I have on occasion when the grass is very long had grass left on the lawn, but that's not a huge deal to me.
Their plowing is good, if I'm home when they come, the driver will clear behind my car, then I will back out and he will clear the entire driveway right up to the garage door.  If I'm not home, he still clears as close to my car as possible and the whole width of the driveway.  I've never asked nor expected them to come back after the city plows go by,   If one time my car was there and the next time I'm home he'll make sure to get all the snow he couldn't get to before.
