We needed our basement windows (which had just been replaced by another contractor) to have either a trim border or wallboard put around them and decided to get caught up on a few other tasks that we just weren't getting around to. Nestor was very responsive for giving us a price, broken out by project. Each worker who came through (a) knew what was asked for from Nestor and also (b) double-checked the needs with us. The windows look *amazing* and we're really happy to have the ceiling fans switched out, our towel rack back up in the master bath, and the installation of a proper basement light switch (after making a bad call on not putting it in when we finished it years ago.) We can't recommend them enough!"

"So this takes a tiny bit of telling but it's worth it. Mr. Handyman came in to install a backsplash and the original job fell below our expectations. When I bought my concerns to Dan - who I believe runs the show - he drove out to see for himself and offered a complete redo of the job at no cost to us. The incredible contractor who came over to fix things had to spend about 5X the time of the original installation to fix everything, which included reinstalling drywall before doing the actual backsplash. Not only was the new job absolutely perfect, but he went above and beyond in every possible way on our behalf. While this could have had a different outcome, I can say without qualification that Mr. Handyman earned my loyalty for as long as I live in this area. I highly recommend them."

We initially hired his company to repair a long standing water leak in the kitchen (a problem that mystified several contractors before him, in addition to an outlay of thousands of dollars). Not only did he correctly identify the source of the leak but he also repaired it permanently, in a timely and cost effective way. Since then, we hired his company for several major home remodel projects. Per other reviewers, Mr Duenas and his team (including his son, Austin) worked efficiently and professionally. He is fair, trustworthy and conscientious. He will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear with regard to your project. We are so pleased with his work that we are now planning a major kitchen remodel in the next year or so. He is not the cheapest nor the most expensive in the area. If you want your project done well the 1st time around and done with honesty and respect for you as the homeowner, then he is your contractor. We highly recommend Duenas Renovators."

I am impressed just by how well it was built and how sturdy it was. it looked like a two person project but he did it independently.
