"During a recent heavy rainstorm, our porch roof started leaking enthusiastically. I found Anthony Mitchell (Tar Star Roofing) through Angi and I’m so glad I did. He was able to come by that very day and inspect the roof. He was very upfront about cost which I appreciated. We were expected another round of rain at the beginning of the following week, so he rearranged things to be able to fit me in just 2 days later. He completed the work within one day. Throughout the process he gave me updates on what he was doing, and explained everything clearly. While inspecting the property Anthony noticed that the railing on our side deck was coming loose, causing a hazard to the cars parked under it. He very kindly secured it for us, and didn’t even charge us. I will definitely hire him for future projects!"

"I had a roof replaced on m detached garage including all wood. Also had a small flat roof replaced. Both were in bad shape and for the flat roof that I had to redo the joists and outer wood. I have used them twice now and in both cases they were very responsive to phone calls and was able to schedule both jobs very quickly. In both cases they took their time to make sure the underlying surface/wood was replaced and fixed prior to roofing."

"Moss was taking over my roof, and I was worried I'd have to replace it early. I found The Roofing Company on Angi, and they were incredible from start to finish. Dylan didn't just spray chemicals and leave; he took the time to manually prep the roof and brush away the heavy moss before applying a gentle soft-wash treatment. The transformation is night and day and my house has its curb appeal back, and I know my roof is protected for years to come. Professional, fast, and highly skilled. Highly recommend!"

"FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!"

"Water leakage between vent cover and roof shingle had been fixed for the time being."

"I had a jug of the recommended product, which Mr. Dexter used to spray the entire roof--not just the bad sections. He expertly corrected a downspout position to direct rain into main gutter. Two gutter covers were replaced with white-painted, seasoned wood, which were cut to the proper shapes. A deck board was fastened securely. Mr. Dexter plans to return to inspect his roof work. If additional roof treatment is needed, there will be no additional cost for me. [I had contacted 2 other roofing companies, which were recommended by Angie's List. One company did not respond. A 2d company gave a $930 estimate, which did NOT include spraying the roof for moss/algae.]"

"Damion responded promptly to understand the scope of work and found time to come by, inspect the job and provide a quote. While we went with another provider, we will keep DE Roofsmiths in mind for future gutter and roof work."

"I am very pleased with the roof replacement. The workers were very thorough, neat, efficient, and professional. During the project they noticed a lot of rotted wood and were able to repair that as well. From the entire process - initial meeting; sales; work performed; and cleanup; I have nothing negative to say. Outstanding work."

"FRS Roofing and Gutter Services performs their work extremely well. This company was selected to replace our roof because of their great track record, experience and ability to answer all of our questions to perform the work. We met with the owner of the company who is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He thourghly reviewed their process for removing and installing a new roof. It was very easy dealing with FRS as they reviewed roofing options, colors and underlayment. The process was explained clearly as was the pricing and contract terms as well as expectations. They took care of everything. The customer service even among the team that worked at our house was very professional and courteous. The process went extremely smooth, and the construction area was kept very clean before and after the work was completed. We were left with a quality job and a great experience with the whole process. All our expectations were exceeded. It’s nice to see a well-rounded company that performs at a high level in all areas. I highly recommend FRS Roofing and Gutter Services for your roofing needs."

"

They gave me a very quick estimate... No pressure like some other vendors did.

Their price was exactly what it cost me.

They did the entire job in one day... on the day that they stated.  They arrived early and were gone early.

The clean up was superb.  I found 3 roofing nails around my entire property.  They were very efficient.

This is my second time using them... and I will use them again.
