They flashed where necessary and installed the drip edge. Most surprising to me was the quality of the cleanup. I am yet to find a single nail left behind despite the snow we had on the ground. Job site was well protected, job site was cleaned 100%, the project supervisor was very communicative. I observed the entire job and the 12 roofing laborers did not skip any steps or cut any corners. They were very attentive to all areas that required flashing including around the skylights, chimney, and valleys.
