"Our only complaint about Metro Reconstruction was the length of time it took to start the job. However, it’s hard to fault a company whose popularity and good work actually created their wait list. Ben explained that several of his other stucco projects had hidden complications that delayed the start of our small job. But in the end, our patience was rewarded and we were very happy with the result. Here’s a brief recap. In late December 2015, six months after we signed the contract, Ben contacted us to let us know that our stucco repair was next in line. Our stucco was damaged from a rogue woodpecker and we were seeking a permanent (non-lethal) solution to the problem. In a just a week or so, Ben was at our house reviewing the job details and taking a stucco sample to match our color. Now all we had to do was wait for the weather to warm up and even that arrived right on cue. The work crew was efficient, professional and polite. Every evening they cleaned up the work site and kept the clutter to a minimum. Within a week the task was completely done and we are very glad that we waited."

"Domian responded when three other concrete contractors wouldn't even answer the phone to give us a bid. They said that they usually work on larger jobs than ours but they would give us a price if we would agree to be flexible on the work date.  Since our job was a smaller one, their plan was to complete the work when they could couple it with another job nearby.  We agreed.

It took a few weeks to get scheduled but they came and did nice work over 2 days and were very courteous to my wife who was home during part of their work. It started to rain after the concrete was poured and one of the workers said he lived nearby and if weather posed a threat he would return to cover their work. The rain was light, no cover was needed and the sidewalk looks good. The buried downspout now empties rainwater harmlessly to another part of our yard instead of the walk up to our front door which will be a major improvement when winter comes.

I should also add that our sidewalk was not a routine install. It was located over a section of side yard that had a layer of solid rock that prevented the usual dirt removal and form set. The brought a bobcat to clear the path so that the sidewalk would follow a smooth, level path parallel to the street.

There were no surprises. They did what they promised and their workmanship was excellent."

"I appreciated their skill and efficiency, but especially their honesty. Iâ d been waiting more than two years, trying various methods to find a fault in a driveway heating system before hiring a concrete contractor to make a hole to access the problem, and then refill it after the wiring was repaired. Once SPS started removing the concrete, though, it became apparent the heating wires were embedded in the concreteâ and not, as expected, under some sort of mat to keep the concrete from infiltrating. It was very disappointing, but at least now I understood why the original concrete contractor from 2013 never responded to my efforts to contact them. SPS took out the entire 8-foot-square piece of concrete and replaced it so it looked exactly like the rest of the drivewayâ including the directions of the finishing broom strokes. Even better than before. I recommend SPS highly. But I sure am ticked off, to put it mildly, at the 2013 contractor."
