"Initial sales call and estimate completed as scheduled. Explained it well. The driveway is only 2 years old, so it was in more or less perfect condition; one small crack about 4 feet long. Was told that they would call later to schedule. After 2 weeks, I never heard from them until one day they called to say that they had a cancellation, and they could be out in 2 days. Not hearing from them for over two weeks was a problem, but getting it done soon was good. The first day, one person came out to power wash the drive. That took less than an hour. The next day, 4 people came out and completed the job in 3 hours. So there was a total of 13 man-hours of labor and materials. They did a great job. The work blends in nicely with the driveway. $2,500 seems high to me for 13 hours of labor. If the guys made $100 hour, then there was $1,200 of materials/equipment? Thus my "Fair" rating on price. I wish that I had gotten other formal bids. However, if the process works, it can be worth it in the end as replacing the drive could be far more expensive."

"The concrete contractor extended our driveway and repaired some sideway areas. When we called for a quote, they were very punctual and showed-up with a very lengthy list of reference customers. Their guidance on the repairs was sound. Likewise, the installation was performed on the date specified and they did a nice job of prep work. More importantly, they cleaned-up their mess -- VERY COOL! The concrete has been down for about 19 months. There has been no cracking and it still looks great! Everything was great -- but the price was definitely a premium. We went with Lymm for outstanding quality and we got that. For smaller, less weight tolerant projects, I would probably go with a cheaper offering. However, for vehicle and tractor tolerant needs, Lymm installation is excellent. <br />"

"We live in a condo. Our neighbor got bids from several companies to fix the patio in our backyard which is connected to both of our foundations. Ja Jay LaPar of Heartland Foundations gave the best bid and got the job. We have a fish pond right next to the patio so I was concerned, but he assured us there would be no damage to the pond. They were very careful and true to their word. They planned to finish the job in one day, but they had to come back and finish a week later. The existing concrete took longer to remove than anticipated and it was an exceptionally hot day so that the new concrete dried too quickly. He was very good about letting me know the difficulties and they didn't charge any more than the original quote even though they had to spend a lot more time and effort to finish the job. The new patio looks great!"
