"Quality of work above average for the new concrete work performed. -Concrete splatter on front door, shutters and siding. Other firms apply poly covering to avoid this mess. -Original concrete driveway not protected from excess loading from redi-mix truck. Differential settlement of existing pavement panels and cracking resulted. Ask for protective mats to distribute the loads to avoid this. -Imported black dirt for landscape repairs and beds was high quality organic material. -Negotiated additional driveway removal and replacement. Fair with price at same unit cost as original quote."

"It went really well. Al and Corey are both fantastic to work with. I moved into a house where the yard was in rough shape. I talked to several different landscaping companies and decided on Goodfellows after the initial meeting. Al had such great suggestions for tweaking the design and thinking about the project, that I knew I would regret it if I chose someone else. The customer service is really good. Many contractors I have worked with are almost impossible to get answers from, but Al was always on top of everything I asked. "I picked Artistic Landscape by reviewing Angie's List for Landscaping providers. I had identified five companies that I was interested in, with Artistic Landscape being my first choice. I ended up only contacting Artistic Landscape.  I was looking for a small company who would be able to provide design work and the installation services. Chris Baker (owner) came over four about an hour and listened to what we were looking for.  Instead of sending us a quote, he came back two weeks later with a CAD drawing and presented us a design for our review. We discussed different stone (for the sitting wall) and different pavers for the patio/sidewalk.  We had the option to change things up if we wanted to.  After choosing Artistic Landscape, Chris came back again to show us actual samples of stone and pavers to finalize our design. 
The implementation went smoothly. It took them about 4.5 days to get the work done.  Chris had two guys doing landscaping and two guys doing pavers and stone walls. Chris was also here most of the time working with them as well.  In addition, Chris had my six year old in the bobcat (technically a compact track loader) for 10 minutes while he was loading up the dump truck on the second day.  
Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  We would gladly use him again and recommend him to friends/neighbors.

"This spring we were in search of a company to pour a concrete patio as we were removing our old floating deck. We came across Clark Companies at the White Bear Home Show @ The Hippodrome. They followed up promptly afterwards and set a time to come out for a quote. They answered all our questions and helped us envision what it could look like. "It was a pleasure working with Kingscapes on this job to remove an existing deck and gazebo, design and build a new patio and landscape the grassy areas on our backyard. During the planning phase of the project, Don Kilty listened carefully to our ideas regarding the patio design and offered extensive advice, ultimately developing a plan that met all of our expectations. He was quick to provide a quote, and the amount was more reasonable than the other landscapers. ?The job presented some unusual challenges - two large basement window wells consisting of thick concrete needed to be jack hammered and removed ?- that Kingscapes handled with a high degree of professionalism. The on-site project manager, Donnie Nelson, was exceptionally pleasant and communicative and also exhibited extraordinary dedication and attention to detail over the course of the job. ?He personally laid out the layers of the patio and placed each paver himself. ?He and his crew were there everyday, even working late some nights. ?They cleaned up well at the end of each day. ?We would gladly recommend Kingscapes to others for similar work.?"

"Cherry Hill was fantastic. They landscaped the front of our house, added a couple of plants around our deck and planted some hedges and two trees in our back yard. The were extremely courteous, professional and friendly. After the project was complete they followed up by text and by phone to make sure we were satisfied with the work.
