Other firms apply poly covering to avoid this mess. -Original concrete driveway not protected from excess loading from redi-mix truck. Differential settlement of existing pavement panels and cracking resulted. Ask for protective mats to distribute the loads to avoid this. -Imported black dirt for landscape repairs and beds was high quality organic material. -Negotiated additional driveway removal and replacement. Fair with price at same unit cost as original quote."

"We used L&R for a very extensive renovation project to remove overgrown flower beds, reclaim portions of yard that the previous owners had turned into paths and terrace, remove trees, replace rotted steps and realign the irrigation system. They turned a badly neglected back yard into a beautiful oasis that looks clean and abounds with blooming plants and shrubs. Since we border a wetland, their plan called for animal-resistant foliage in an easy-to-maintain installation. Throughout the project their staff was exceptionally helpful, and took care to protect the areas not being renovated, and to clean the jobsite every night when they were done. We were very impressed with the design they presented; the work that they performed; and the diligence and hard work that their staff performed. "It went really well. Al and Corey are both fantastic to work with. I moved into a house where the yard was in rough shape. I talked to several different landscaping companies and decided on Goodfellows after the initial meeting. Al had such great suggestions for tweaking the design and thinking about the project, that I knew I would regret it if I chose someone else. The customer service is really good. "We have had Chris do a number of smaller jobs for us over the last 5 years.  We have always been extremely pleased with the quality of his work.  The shoreline rock wall was by far the biggest project he has done for us.  We couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome!  In order to get the huge rocks to the shore, our yard was pretty torn up in the process, as was the sand beach. Not only does the rock wall look fantastic, but they put the yard and beach back in better shape than it was in the first place.  In addition, Chris is friendly as well as professional and really cares about our input and suggestions.  We will hire him again!
