"A man of his word. This company is reliable, prompt and keep their word. We had an infestation on our house. Other companies did not even make the effort to come out to give us a quote. Julio showed up promptly, gave us a good quote and immediately began the job. It was a 3 day process and he showed up all 3 days and completed the job smoothly. Thank you! In the future we will be using your company many times and sending our recommendations."

"This company is very responsive and punctual, they came out the day I called. The guys that came out were nice and respectful. The service visit was $299, and for that they survey the situation, set traps, and then propose a final price that includes sealing the house, putting out bait boxes, and 3 follow up visits to remove and rebait traps. For this full service I was quoted $799. It was implied to me that the high cost was related to the seal up job being somewhat involved and included 6 areas. The seal job is basically wire mesh and expanding foam, and was done in about 35 minutes. I was told that they would trim away the excess expanding foam the next time they came. After they left, I went on the roof myself because I noticed they missed sealing a major opening right where I had told them several times that I was hearing nightly activity. The opening here was unmistakable, and could be seen from the front yard. It was certainly one area they were getting in, as I continued to hear nightly activity there. They did seal this the next visit, but used a lot of foam. Again, they said they would trim it so it was not so obvious. They did make the follow up visits and caught/removed several rats. I kept reminding them to trim the excess foam, and they said they would. On the last visit I reminded them again to trim the foam, since it was unsightly in the front of the house. At that time they told me they couldn't trim because it would chip away the part of foam they actually need to seal. I suggested that they just trim this with a roto dremel type tool. They said "oh yeah, I have one on the truck, I will try that". When I went outside 5 minutes later, they had just drove off and never trimmed the foam. After the last trip, I went thru the attic myself and found some large gaps around two vent stacks going thru the roof. I sealed those, and also sealed a rather large hole around my outside AC penetrations that they said did not need sealing. Why not just take 2 minutes and seal it? One other small issue was the bait boxes not being fastened. On a windy day, I found 2 of them blown over and 15 ft away from the house. I'm afraid when they are overturned, the bait (poison) can tumble out and get eaten by pets or birds. My neighbor has these boxes too, and his exterminator installed/fastened them to small square stones so they can't move. Overall, my problem is now solved, but I feel that for $800, the service should have been performed better without the shortcomings mentioned above. In the future, I will just do this myself."

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Boca Raton, FL

You're likely to find nesting birds in external areas such as your gutters, eaves, porches, and chimneys. Some birds also nest in less obvious spots, like attics or even in your ventilation systems if they gain access. A reputable pro will conduct an inspection before starting any work to check for evidence of where birds may have set up roosting or nesting sites in your home.

Leaving birds to roost and nest on your home creates significant risks that affect both your home's structure and your well-being. The constant droppings, aggressive swooping, and persistent noise can damage siding, allow moisture intrusion, and stain exterior finishes. In addition, the birds’ pecking and droppings can spread diseases and parasites, which can lead to escalating repair costs and health hazards.

Yes, humane removal is possible and ensures that birds remain unharmed during the extraction process. Experts use proven methods to safely capture and relocate both birds and their nests to secure environments. Professionals employ stainless steel spikes as a deterrent while avoiding harmful techniques such as poisons or glue traps. You can rely on trusted specialists who strictly use safe, noninjurious methods, thereby protecting the birds while resolving the nuisance.

Yes, there are legal considerations when removing birds and their nests. You must adhere to strict local and state regulations, which safeguard protected native species during nesting season. Special authorization is required to remove protected birds, their nests, or eggs under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observing these legal mandates avoids violations and ensures safe, responsible removal.

To prevent birds from returning after nest removal, you can implement deterrent methods. Installing stainless steel spikes creates a secure barrier that prevents birds from roosting without causing injury. In contrast, loose nets may entangle birds and other wildlife, creating additional hazards. A trusted professional will choose and install the optimal method to keep your home bird-free.

A bird’s nest remains viable for a period that depends on the species. The construction phase concludes within 2 days to 3 weeks, followed by a rearing stage lasting 2 to 10 weeks. Most birds become fully independent within 2 to 6 weeks, while certain predatory species require up to 2 1/2 months. This timeline can guide you on when it's safe to intervene.
