The service call was $49, and a complimentary overall safety check. He checked all the outlets and the sub-panel, found the problem, and repaired it. It only cost the $49 service fee. I asked about the overall safety check and he explained 4 different options that would make the electrical system in my house more efficient. He didn't pressure me to do any of them. If I only wanted a quick fix he would have done the work and been on his way for just $49. Because of his professionalism I asked for estimates for additional work and hired him to install surge protectors, etc., to make my home safer. I'm very pleased."
