"Melinda did a fantastic job! She painted our kitchen, living room, entryway, hallway and bedroom. Additionally she painted our VERY high ceilings in the kitchen, living room and entryway. It was not an easy task, but Melinda got the job done on time and it looks great! Very professional and prompt, and great to work with. Would definitely hire this company again."

Customers say: True professional

"Don't let the name of fool you as they do much more than painting. I hired them to refurbish a 20 year old deck. While they arent completed with the project I can see what they have completed so far is top quality workmanship. The owner and crew are extremely friendly and what on top of being impressed with the quality of work, I was also very pleased with the fact that they arrived when they said the would and also worked some very long hours to work when the weather was good. I don't often make recommendations at all, but I would (and will) hire them again. In fact I already had them look at future needs for next year."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Bonner Springs, KS

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
