"Contacted Stellar Construction to replace original decking with a two tier deck with cover and a patio. Micah was very responsive, walked me through several options and we decided on the overall design and layout. First came the demolition of the old decking, then the patio and finally got to the deck. There was some extensive rot around the window and door leading to the deck, so after a quick consult the Stellar crew pulled out the rot, fixed that side or the house and then installed the decking. Keep in mind this is the middle of winter and they are working in the rain and at one point snow. Extremely pleased with the final outcome and have already BBQ'ed twice (in February). The Stellar crew were all friendly and pleasant to interact with. I work at home, so it was nice to see them everyday and watch the process. Highly recommended."

"The project was quoted promptly and initial communication was pretty good. This was the lowest of 6 bids and price and schedule were the deciding factors in our decision to move forward. After scheduling, I emailed to ask who would be calling 811 to mark the utility lines. Reggie confirmed that he would, but no utility people showed up going into the weekend. We called Reggie and told him this and told him that the project could not start until the lines were marked. He confirmed and mentioned that the utility people should be there since the request was submitted on Friday. We said they needed 2 business days so the earliest they would be there was Monday. We pushed the job back one day since the utility people did not show on Monday. The team showed up on Tuesday and dug and installed the fence posts and then left to pick up the remaining materials for the next day. On day two, the team showed up in the morning and Reggie discovered that they had placed the posts for vertical fencing and not horizontal fencing (needed to be closer together to work with the slats) so they dug up the posts and re-did them. They also installed the 20' of 3 ft tall fence. When I returned from work, I noticed that the 3' tall fence posts had all been cut down to height and not left tall for the 6' gate that was supposed to be installed. We called Reggie and let him know and he said they would re-do those posts. The next day they got to work installing the horizontal boards on the 6' fencing. I video called with Reggie while I was at work (my partner facilitated) to confirm which side of the fence would get the "nice side". We agreed that it would all face inwards. Later that day my partner looked outside and noticed that the crew was installing the boards on the outside of the fence and went out to talk to them and had them switch it back to what we had talked about with Reggie. The next day they continued the fencing without any major hiccups and the last day the box gates were built and installed. We reviewed the work with Reggie acknowledging that everything was done correctly and looked nice. We mentioned the confusion (including having to re-do work after we asked questions) and lack of communication and he acknowledged the challenges and pointed out that it was done in the end. After the project was completed, I emailed, texted and called to ask for a receipt and did not receive one until my partner called multiple times. Reggie did show up to make a minor repair to a gate latch about 1 month later. Overall, the workmanship is good, but the communication was not very good."

"Everything went great!! Alex installed 2 gates for us, one for our neighbor and replaced one side of fencing in our yard. Looks awesome and appreciated the thorough communication throughout as they were installing around some less than ideal existing brick pillars that we did not want to replace (yet). We will have them back for sure when we can get in touch with the other adjacent neighbors! We received multiple quotes and they were the only ones to talk in detail about wood varieties, show us pictures, etc. and came back with the most compelling bud. Project was done in 2 days!"

The project took a bit longer than originally projected, however, I am very pleased with the quality of the job as well as the positivity and respectfulness of the crew."

"Stellar Construction & Remodeling remodeled our Master Suite including the bathroom. Inside the bedroom a window replaced the existing sliding glass door, carpet replaced by hardwood in both the bedroom and bathroom, a beautiful barn door was installed for the walk-in closet hand-made by Micah (owner of Stellar), the shower was enlarged with floor to ceiling tile installed with a pebble floor, as well as all new cabinetry, accented with bronze fixtures throughout. A final touch was the installation of a new toilet with a Washlet, aka bidet. Micah was helpful in assisting with the choices of materials allowing flexibility with our choices. His staff and subcontractors were excellent and respectful of our home. The COVID-19 pandemic delayed some of the processes due to materials not immediately available but the company was not at fault for the delay. We would recommend using Stellar Construction and will do so in the future with other planned projects. As a note Stellar also remodeled our deck and made it more beautiful and safe several years ago. That is how we knew his work ethics and honesty in dealing with customers would be outstanding.
