"Excellent!! I would give John my highest recommendation. My back yard was in bad shape, basically unusable. John removed the old chain link fence along with all the sod, pavers and concrete. He replaced the grass with a beautiful 35 ft x 50 ft sport court. I asked John if he could build a wood privacy fence around the court. I couldn't find a contractor willing to do both the concrete and the fence. While John doesn't specialize in fences, he said "no problem". I also asked John if he could break up, remove and replace my old driveway and patio. Again "no problem, happy to do so". Both the sport court and driveway were large pours, 20+ yards each. John's crew did a great job and took great care to assure the slabs were perfect. John is a perfectionist and it showed in all of his work. John has an excellent work ethic and he always showed up on time and was always at the house when he said he would there!! In addition John finished the project early. It took less time than he had estimated. It was a big project and it completely transformed my back yard. John's prices were very reasonable and were SIGNIFICANTLY less than other bids. I added a few extras along the way that we hadn't planned on and they were all very affordable. The quality of John's work is impeccable. He is a true craftsman and artist. While John specializes in concrete, he really went above and beyond building the cedar fence. It is beautiful and incredibly well built. My neighbors are all impressed as well!"

"It went great, in fact better than we were expecting! Sam came out to our home exactly when he said he would be there and gave us an estimate that was in line with other estimates we had received. He was very thorough in explaining all the steps they would take to ensure we got a great product and answered all the questions we had. The crew arrived the following Monday to start the work; the workers were personable, knew exactly what they were doing and asked questions to make sure the project was exactly as we requested. Very hard workers, finished that afternoon and left the site clean and neat. All the debris was removed and disposed of. It was a very unstressful experience and we would DEFINITELY hire Island Concrete again if we require further work in the future. We'd also recommend this company if you are looking for quality work at a fair price from a crew that knows their stuff!!! Can't say enough!"

"We hired Pioneer Concrete to demolish a badly stamped patio job and replace it with a stamped and colored patio around a swim spa. Joe helped us lay out a different stamp pattern that would work best for our project. Joe knew we were nervous about getting the best results this second attempt, and his attention to the details and our concerns allayed our fears and worries. Joe and his crew were on the job promptly (early!) every day, and got things quickly demolished and set up for the new pour. He had to take direction from multiple parties and get 4-5yds of mulch into a tricky close quarters, hilly portion of land in South Seattle.
