"I had taken 5 bids to replace our natural grass backyard with synthetic grass as it was becoming difficult to maintain the natural grass and it was taking a lot of water. Oscar was prompt to come and set up time he provided several suggestions like adding paver lights in the design which will look very nice without significantly increasing the cost. He also looked at the backyard doors and recommended that we replace them and provided several suggestions on metal doors with automatic wifi controlled locks. Then he provided a written estimate and I got 4 additional bids for the same scope. He wasn't the cheapest but he was most thorough in his estimates. The workmanship was very good as well. His crew was professional, came on time and ensured the work is done to my satisfaction. I will use him again for any of my landscaping needs."

"I have used About Green twice in the past 3 years. Our backyard has a lot of trees and very tall tree-type hedges. Since it was a major part of the reason we bought the home, we want to maintain the health of the landscaping back there. Vince and his team scaled and thinned/trimmed a couple very tall redwood trees, removed an unhealthy leaning tree and trimmed/maintained many other trees on our property. Vince is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all of the trees that we have and suggests what service to do on each type of tree based on his knowledge of each. He explains it very clearly to us who don't know much about the subject. His work is quality and his goal is 100% customer satisfaction. On this last visit, they spent a few hours trimming a tree-type hedge and when I came home from work, I wanted it around 3 feet lower. Even though it meant repeating the work for a few hours, Vince did it without any argument. To me, that was a true test of customer satisfaction. They complete the work in a timely manner, over a 2 day period. They cleaned up the yard like new and disposed of a ton of trimmings (never seen so much in my life). I never even consider another tree service besides About Green. I plan to have him come out after summer to suggest some landscaping ideas as I haven't used him for that before.."

They were here working everyday, without fail from 8am to 5pm. At the end of each day they carefully closed the gates and left the place clean and organized. Nato Vargas was always available - every time I needed to talk to him he answered his phone immediately. On more than one occasion my husband and I changed our minds about various things in the plans and Nato was extremely positive and willing to do exactly what we wanted and offered his suggestions for the design as well. He was more than fair when negotiating prices. I have never had a more pleasant experience with a project of this proportion. I interviewed 5 landscape contractors for this project and chose Nato because he had the most competitive bid and was very punctual and courteous and professional.
