"Wow what a great moving experience (one of the best all time... I've never worked with such a professional moving company). Malik was a stellar communicator from start to finish. He sent an email with the quote (and a two-page PDF of moving tips!) well ahead of time, confirmed the date and time via text and made sure we had each other's phone #s on the day of the move. On moving day (which was the 4th of July), they showed up right on time and moved everything quickly, efficiently and carefully. There was no damage to anything. "I would never recommend All My Sons to move your furniture. They left three heavy items at the pick up location. I only discovered this after they left. Enormously stressful as the new buyers were closing and all items needed to be removed. They left a piece of wrapped artwork in the freight elevator ($$$) discovered , Thank God by my friend after we had left . The next day during delivery they DESTROYED my beautiful dining room table and couch. All four brass legs on the dining table were scratched and gouged. The L shaped couch was ripped on every corner and the wood base scratched. One mover admitted the company doesn?t wrap properly as they cut corners. This has been the most stressful move we have ever encountered and we have moved seven plus times. Please do not use them if you want a move that minimizes stress. They are reckless with your personal belongings and EXPENSIVE to boot. "

"I had a two bedroom two bath apartment in Pentagon City, VA. The moved started at 9am on a Monday. I reserved the elevator for 4 hours. I requested three movers and I believe it would take no longer than five hours total. However, it took the movers 7 hours to load the truck. Then another 5 hours to unload the truck. So my five hour quote ballooned to $2,400 to move 2 miles away. I learned to never accept a hourly rate and only do flat rates. Also, I would never do business with this company. They even damaged the wall in my new place. The manager that came to help unload because of the time said he would repair the damage with no cost to me. Laughable. After he finished, I had to get a professional to fix it because it was a hatchet job."
