We decided to finish our basement, including a full bathroom, while I was pregnant and wanted the job wrapped up before the baby came, which gave a very hard deadline. Not only was Martin able to work with us contacting him two months out on this project, he was so responsive during the process, gave us great ideas, and kept us well-informed on everything that was happening with the project. From start to finish, we always felt that Martin was knowledgeable about what he was doing and didn’t seem bothered when we had last minute changes. The entire team was so clean, which gave me comfort given that I was pregnant at the time, and they were able to complete everything before the baby came. If I had more basements, I would definitely call Martin!"

We were first-time major-home-renovation homeowners when beginning the search for a company/contractor to renovate our basement, and after the first round of receiving quotes from several other places, we almost gave up. We decided to look again and received a few more quotes, and what set Miller Home Group (MHG) apart from all others was Jason’s vision and ability see a layout that we could not see ourselves. I think this is the most important thing other potential clients of MHG need to hear...all of the other companies listen to our ideas and gave us a pricing… that’s it…no new ideas, no excitement. "He finished the roof but did not tell me about the error in his workmanship. He did not finish the whole work. Update 12/22/2021: He finished the roof and said he fixed the problem, he showed me how he was to complete the repairs and after it was complete the work was not done in the manner he said he would do it. A new problem was noticed with the shingles and they are overhanging on a peak of the roof and are not attached and will blow off with high winds. The second part of the job, to put two sides on the shed was not done properly, he is charging me to come out to fix it, which is ridiculous, that is why contractors put that in their estimates. He was going to come out on a Saturday but change to Friday since it was going to rain on Saturday, when he called me and by the time he arrived on the job site it would be dark, I told him I did not want him to work in the dark with a flashlight. he keeps giving me excuses on why he cannot come out on certain days for personal reasons. The job should have been completed in October, except for his constant excuses for not being able to come out. If the problems are not resolved by the end of the year I will escalate this by other means."

"We had Eric add an addition to our garage and extend the roof over the front porch. We also had the front porch replaced and had new shingles on the whole house. It was a fairly simple job complicated by lots of rain. We were kept informed of any delays and when contractors would be working. The job came out looking great. The best compliment you can say about an addition is that it looks like it was always that way and it certainly does in this case. I highly recommend Somrok Inc."

"I highly recommend Lux Renovations/Owens Corning Basements for refinishing basements. The initial consultant was highly professional and it never felt like he was a ‘salesman’ with high pressure tactics just trying to get his commission. I have never refinished a basement before and assumed it would be the same as any other room in the house but I felt extremely reassured about the materials and methods used to keep the basement in the best condition as possible. When it came to the instillation, I cannot speak highly enough of the people that made it happen. They were prompt, hardworking, considerate, and there was never a moment we were concerned about having people we didn’t know in our home. The results are wonderful. Our basement was feeling like a dingy place we just put stuff but now it is open, clean, and an enjoyable place to be."
