Silvio's team did a superb job precisely laying the foundation and cutting the pavers perfectly, ensuring a small degree of slope for water run off as well as correct engineering measurements on the angles of the patio. "I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"Tomas was excellent! He did an incredible job and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the work he did. He helped us demo planters and install pavers on our driveway and patio. He ran into an extra problem that we weren't expecting with slabs of concrete under the pavers but he was upfront and told us he would have to take additional time he hasn't budgeted into the initial estimate and the demo would cost more. He was professional and his initial quote was the most competitive to begin with, we agreed to a higher cost for the additional labor and he came through with great quality work that we love. We would definitely book his crew again for future projects!"

"Project: Design and install a patio. This project was not easy. The design and build of this paver patio should have been straightforward. The challenge came from the adjacent conservation area and town. There were other patios that had been built in this complex without approval from the conservation officer. This created a scenario that meant my project would be scrutinized and managed to the nth degree. Rodrigo was amazing. He knew what was happening and understood town politics. He was patient and willing to work with the conservation group as they adjusted the requirements a few times. He had to step over some land mines but he and his team designed and built a patio that met my needs and also the town?s requirements. They were on budget, responsive to me, cleaned up and delivered a great product. I highly recommend."

"We needed major work done in front of our house: a wider driveway (paved, with a drywell), a new front path, a new set of front steps, and a new sewer line (to replace the faulty old one). Stevhan and his crew were efficient and hardworking, and the job was done within two weeks, faster than expected. The end result is lovely - aesthetically pleasing, and solid, with a deep drywell, new retaining wall, and nice pavers. Stevhan was a pleasure to work with - responsive, made good suggestions, and tried to make sure we were pleased with the job. He was also able to adapt when unforeseen problems arose - a major gas line meant we had to widen the driveway on the other side, and a boundary marker (which we didn't know about) limited our room for action.
