When I called at 8 am when they opened Betsy was extremely sympathetic and helpful, and arranged for Tom to be at our house at 11:30 am. Tom is a plumbing rock star and we had him replace the water supply shutoff with a new quick shutoff valve, and replace our front outside faucet that is part of the assembly as well. "To start, I found Hawaiian Tropic Pools through Angie's List after a moment of desperation because I was having problems with pool resurfacing. I needed a serious, qualified company to provide the best expertise to resolve my issue. I found around 4 companies, but none was available to come as soon as possible (immediately!), with the exception of Hawaiian Tropic Pools. When my husband and I met with Doug Colasanti we realized we had the right person for the job. After speaking to several people and comparing notes, Doug seemed to go above and beyond his call of duty, which gave us a piece of mind that we have found the right guy. We hired his services for his expertise and got all the materials from him. We are very impressed with the quality of work, accuracy in what we needed, professionalism, punctuality and available resources. He knew what needed to be done to correct mistakes, how to detect errors and how to prevent them. We got the manufacturers warranty information which was not provided to us by the other company. Pool resurfacing is a very expensive job, but after seeing what it entails, I would not recommend to go with the cheapest estimate, but to take into consideration the complexity of the job, and the financial risk if something goes wrong.
