Since they were my first choice, it was good to know I chose wisely :) Service person arrived on time, professionally dressed/equipment clean and in good repair. Very reassuring. He was careful and thorough, even cleaning stray sticks off the roof while he was cleaning the gutters. Courteous, answered questions and detailed everything he had done. Even more amazing, he cleaned up the area and removed debris. Definitely would recommend this company!"

"Overall the work he did was good. The areas that were lacking was cleaning up after himself. For example, he left the empty caulk canisters in the front yard and the scrapping from the gutter were left on the front walkway. Outside of this the work was done in a timely manner."

This winter was terrible with snow and sub-zero temperatures, but they always came promptly as promised and cleared the snow well. They were incredibly responsive and allowed me to communicate via email and text, too. While we tried using other independent contractors in the past for snow removal, we had bad experiences. "The work performed was so bad; the irrigation system broke, the outside lights fell over in the wind, the walkway is unsafe/unusable, the plants fell over and died or just died, several trees died more trees appear to be dying too, the prairie grass looked like a weed patch, the gabion walls we not properly drained nor were they finished correctly; only later did we find out Sun Valley had never installed gabion walls before, the work was never completed, and after three separate "walkthroughs" Paul & Hugh did nothing but walk away leaving our property a mess! We have since spent tens of thousands of dollars fixing the mess Sun Valley left. Therefore, we filed a lawsuit against Sun Valley: PAUL FRAYND and HUGH MORTON d/b/a SUN VALLEY LANDSCAPING COMPANY filed in the County Court of Douglas County, Nebraska, Case No. CI 18-1512. A "1 Star" is as low as you can go, but their rating should be -10!"
