"I am VERY late in writing this review, but as I was in the Angies List site I thought I'd put this review in. I can't say enough good things about Vaillancourt Roofing. I had a leak in my roof, winter was coming on and no other roofer would call me back. As an act of humanity Adam and Dave drove down from NH to look at my roof even though they don't do repairs in my area - Carlisle, MA ( I understand they could possibly do roof replacement in my area). They came when they said they would and they found the leak quickly. The leak was from my chimney. They aren't mason's necessarily, but they put a temporary fix to the chimney, so I could rest easy until the next Spring when I could address it. They didn't charge me and were done in about an hour. I wish my roof itself needed replacement, if it did I'd all them in an instant. Just wanted to put in this review as I owe it to these great folks."

"I hired this company to repair a leak in our roof on our enclosed porch. They came out immediately and provided a fair estimate. During the course of the work, part of the roof collapsed and I could see the entire sky exposed. I was freaking out but they promptly repaired the roof and came back a day later to repair the ceiling and painted it as well as the walls that had water stains on them from the ceiling collapse at no extra charge. They did this repair on Christmas Eve, until it was all fixed and good as new. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer. We are pleased with their work and would hire them again in the future should the need arise."

"Excellent as far as I know so far. Got just in on time for major snowfall with new roof so will see if any leaks come through where we had had trouble before. Manny was pleasant and professional to deal with. I liked how he took pictures to show where the areas of concern were and updated me as the day went on and new work had to be done. His worker worked tirelessly all day long. The cleanup of debris was impeccable."

"Fantastic experience! They had to remove a 20 year old cedar shake roof, haul away that mess, and installed a beautiful standing seam roof. When done, my yard looked cleaner than before they started! The crew were respectful of property, polite, happy to answer questions, and tireless workers. "Everything went wonderfully with this company.  They were very professional, listened to exactly what my problem was, and explained to me how they were going to diagnose the problem and/or solve it before doing any actual work.  Once they started, the team (three people came) worked together like a well-oiled machine.  One was in the room with diagnostics, one was at the fuse box looking for possible problems there, and the third went into the crawlspace beneath our house to look at the physical wiring.  Once the problem was found (there was a faulty wire beneath the house that had come loose from the junction box), it was fixed and tested within minutes and another full diagnostic was done to make sure there were no other possible issues.  They cleaned up after themselves very neatly.  They also replaced the light switch with a dimmer switch at no extra cost!  Well within my budget, and came in even lower than their original (FREE) estimate!  I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Bergen County area.
