"I only chose Garcia because a family emergency prevented my first choice from doing the job. Garcia started by showing up when I wasn't home. He cut the water line. Asked me to pay half the costs. I said no. I called the city to ensure who would be responsible...I was told by the City I was responsible. I called around for a certified plumber...told the contractor the person had to be certified. The contractor called someone who wouldn't tell me if he was certified. He said he repaired the pipe...the contractor and the plumber handled the costs. The contractor agreed before he started the project that he would lay sod in the front and back yard....he did not. He ruined my front and back yard. My grass is still dead in front and backyards. I've asked many, many. Many times for a receipt and description of the work that has been done and he continues to promise to submit one but he has not as of this day 11/12/2024. He has been extremely unprofessional throughout this project. He leaves hours at a time without explanation and I had to call him to find out when he would return he never answered my calls. The only good thing he did was cut down the trees. I'm left with a destroyed front and backyard. I'm extremely unhappy with the results of his work. 1 tree in front and four in back. He also cut down brushes that I did not ask him to. I will provide before and after pics of my property. He showed up multiple times when I wasn't home to monitor what was going on i.e., put hay over my yard and also under my neighbor's tree without my knowledge. He said the hay had seeds not to water it the grass would come back in 2 months. He ignored me when I asked about the pallets of sod he said he would put down. He told me many times to go into the house and sit down. He's rude and dismissive. I believe he took advantage because of my age 74 years."
