"As the owner of a very pricey but practical and luxurious Airstream trailer, it is imperative to keep the unit in top notch shape, both inside and out. In the four years we've owned it we have had it winterized and dewinterized at the dealer where we bought it. In the Pacific NW RV's pick up a significant amount of moss and mold buildup. It requires a half day to take it back and forth to the dealer but this year we thought we would have it serviced on site. This has worked out well for the seasonal fix but it did not include any exterior service such as washing. I checked with several RV as well as auto detailers in the Seattle/Tacoma area but no one had knowledge of someone that would power wash and/or wax the unit on site. I then went through the home advisor and received one response. So we arranged to have him come out to power wash the trailer. Since the Airstream is unique in its construction, there are certain requirements that must ve considered. First, too strong a power wash could compromise the seal on the aluminum outer shell. The water pressure must not exceed 1800 psi, and a 40-degree nozzle is recommended along with a distance no closer than 3 feet to assure its safety on the trailer's exterior. The individual that called said was honest when he said he had never done Airstreams but had worked on other RV's. When he came on site he saw the unit, went over my requirements and said there would be no problem. He also said he would call the companies headquarters in NC who had considerable experience with this brand of RV for further information. He did an outstanding job saving us over a half day of driving the 130 miles round trip to the dealer so, in summary, I would strongly recommend Platinum Wash 360.
