"Scott Ballard was very pleasant to work with. He came to a property I had just purchased to measure and quote a chain link fence I wanted installed for dog enclosure. The fence measured approximately 450 feet. I wanted three gates. Not only did Scott make very accurate notes about my needs, he also let me know that some of what was quoted by another fence company was not necessary. The other company quoted gate sizes that were larger and more expensive than I needed. I appreciate the protection from spending more than I needed to. <br /> <br />The crew came a few days after I accepted the quote. The crew worked hard and carefully and accurately. "At first, I was very disappointed with the result. The boards were crooked, the fence was not plumb, and the concrete that was placed in the holes to support the posts was a total mess. Howver, I contacted Mr. Crossland in the Corpus office. This is one man that GETS it! He listened. He didnt make excuses. He simply handled it. Keep in mind, I was angry and highly skeptical. I have dealt with one bad contractor after another & was prepared for yet another let down. Mr. Crossland maintained open communication, he let me vent and frankly, I said some very harsh, albeit truthful, things. A week later i had the beautiful fence I paid for! They replaced the warped boards, fixed the concrete mess & even added a railing "cap" along the top for no additional cost. It looks awesome! There are SOO many companies out there that could learn alot from D&C fence's commitment to customer service! I gave them a B because the first 6 months were so stressful and it took a few times before Mr Crossland stepped in. But the bottom line is this is a professional company that actually cares about customers!"

"Kevin came to my door offering Rangel’s service to prune the 10 trees in my yard. They had not been done in several years and they needed the attention. My trees are mostly old oaks with large canopies and 3 pines. They arrived at the agreed upon time and set to work. I was very impressed by the workers’ industriousness. They did a beautiful job removing dead wood, lifting the canopy that was touching the roof and thinning the excess foliage. I was also most impressed with their cleanup. The yard looked cleaner than when they started. I would highly recommend Kevin and Rangel for your tree needs."

"It was too small a job for a lot of fencing companies I contacted, or it was going to take a long time. The owner of the company, Nick, gave me a quote within a few days of my call. His price was just under the other quotes I had. He told me exactly when they would start (I think it was about two weeks) and when they would finish. The fence is very straight and very sturdy. I'm really happy with it. Nick was always available by phone or email when I had questions. They also worked the fence around a giant live tree that was right in the middle of the property line and were careful about clearing enough brush to put in and maintain the fence without damage to all the live trees around.
