"Went to store front on saturday to look at sample railings. Staff was very helpful. Gave me some catalogues to take home and an appointment for Tuesday for an estimate. On Tuesday Jeff called and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come an hour earlier. Came and showed us some examples and discussed how certain railings would look and what our steps could "handle". Made our selection and got an install date for 2 weeks later. At 9am on 11/12 Alex and his associate showed up and got to work. The two men were professional and meticulous about what they were doing. It seeemed as thought they were installing the railings on their own home. When they were done they cleaned the area so it looked like the railings were always there. The finished work is perfect and we are thrilled that we chose Fence Depot.

"We met with the owner, Tom Hemmerle to do a walk through and discuss the project.  We were looking for someone who could complete the project in a timely manner within a specific timeframe.  We live in Manhattan and have to be sensitive to our neighbours with regards to construction debris and general access in and out of the building.  Tom was very professional and understanding of our concerns. We hired him to do a complete remodel of the master bathroom, which had not been touched in 30 yrs. They did a phenomenal job, during all of the various stages of construction.  From the demo through to the finished materials being installed.  

After our bathroom remodel, we also hired Paragon to refinish our flooring throughout and also repaint the interior of our home.
The crew were always courteous and responsive to any of our concerns and they went above and beyond in helping us feel taken care of.

I would highly recommend Paragon, especially to anyone who faces the challenges of living in a building in NYC (without a freight elevator) and attempting a remodel within a very tight schedule.  Tom is a pro!

"I cannot say enough good things about Scott fence! First, he arrived for an estimate as promised. He did get lost and I missed his call but he called several times until he got me & arrived promptly as soon as i explained where i was. He made recommendations based on the area we wanted to fence that were extremely helpful and showed his level of experience. The price he gave is was fantastic, considering he works with true PVC vinyl fencing (he beat out another fence company by atleast $500). We met with Scott Fence 2 more times after the initial consultation: the 2nd time, he was kind enough to give us time to speak to our neighbors about the upcoming installation, and even helped mediate minor debates about property line & fence placement. He was EXTREMELY helpful with this, which i had to mention because no fence company is responsible for making your neighbors feel ok with fence installation, but Scott Fence took this challenge without hesitation. The third time we met was to finalize the contract. He was able to install the fence 3 days later! His crew arrived as promised that Saturday morning, and worked throughout the day to finish the job. There was a tiny miscommunication: one neighbor already had 4ft pvc fencing and while we wanted to go with 5 ft, we told Scott Fence we wanted to match the neighbors' fence in height, but it was misunderstood as height and style (we installed plain solid & the neighbor has lattice topped fence). Initially I was going to give the go ahead to install but i later told Scott Fence that i wasnt crazy about the lattice fence and he said no worries, that he would order the correct fencing free of charge and install what i wanted. He is truly all about making his customers happy. There was even a small section of unfenced area in out back yard that was previously blocked with cinderblocks that he fenced for free! I also want to mention, he had no idea i found him on Angies list, not until the 2nd visit. I intentionally did not mention it because i like to see the true colors of service providers when they are not focused on getting a good review. There is more that we plan to fence in the future and we will not hesitate to contact Scott Fence. Glenn, the main contact, is wonderful. Cheerful, informative and definitely about his business. "Stephanie and her husband arrived to reinstall our gate, post and one section of fence on time. They quickly cleaned up the post hole and post, removing old concrete and then reset the post, reinstalled the fence section and gate. Work was done quickly and professionally. We would not hesitate to use BDFenceman again for our fencing needs."

"It went great!   Double Tree answered my initial call and made arrangements for
 Josh to meet me at my home during my lunch break. 
He arrived on time and had already assessed the work to be done.
He provided the lowest quote for the take down, removal of all wood, and
grinding the stump.  I had six different companies quote prices.
I was nervous about the entire process since the tree was smack dab in
the middle of my house.   I emailed several questions and they  was
always prompt with responses.   I asked for their insurance certificate
and I called the insurance company directly to ensure that the policy
was still in effect.   Everything checked out, so we set a date.
The crew arrived on time and got to work.  They cleaned up every stray
branch and piece of dust from the property.  At my request and without
additional charge, DOUBLE TREE team  cut a branch off a maple tree that was damaged
in the last late snow storm.
I will definitely call them again for general pruning work."
