"They did a good job of installing the openers and explaining their features and how to set up all the proper codes. There was a small problem with the installation where one of the brackets was pinching an electrical wire and causing it to short out. But after we had an electrician out to figure out the problem, T&C agreed it was a mistake and paid the electrician's invoice. Everyone we deal with was very friendly."

"My daughter knew of my terrible experience with my prior company and she had just gotten a new wireless system from 1st Security. She could not stop raving about how wonderful they were and how awesome the system was compared to her old one. OMG, I am sooo happy that she insisted that I have Jeremy from 1st Security come do a presentation and an assessment of my security needs. He was on time, friendly, professional and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Jeremy explained the 1st Security wireless system, showed me samples of the state of the art equipment , how easily it operated and then surveyed my house to determine the most comprehensive protection options for me. Jeremy scheduled the installation and sent me all of the paperwork via email to docusign. I could not wait! In a couple of days , Larry, the master technical installer appeared at my door very early. He greeted me with a smile and immediately showed me each piece of equipment ,and where he was going to install them. He did this very quickly, despite having to climb over furniture and enter tight spaces to place the contacts. I was astounded when after he finished, he sat down and gave me a full tutorial on using the system. He showed me all of it's capabilities, and answered my many questions . I could not believe how much easier and more up to date this security system was to use than my old one. I have had many, many technicians in my home from the prior system, but absolutely none were as knowledgeable, personable, efficient or professional as Larry. He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

We contacted four vendors (two of whom we had used before).  Our install was a bit tricky, and some companies would not even quote the job.  Mike was the most responsive, and gave us the most options.  I researched third party reviews on the product lines he proposed.  All seemed to have good reviews.  This is really hard to find in either windows or sliding doors!  During the sales process he was informative and presented several options, but absolutely no high pressure.  So easy and pleasant to work with. The installer was very professional and really knew what he was doing. 

We are very pleased with both the quality of the door and the installation.  We would not hesitate to use Mike again

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"I have used them before an all together have spent over $3000.00 cash with them, but this time I was not pleased at the way in replacing the front door jamb and casing , the plaster on the side of the door was knock out, an I was left with lath showing in quite a large area. When I contacted them they said they couldn't be responsible for that! I told if I lived in a richer area I bet they would have? After about 2 wks. I received a pitiful insulting check for $25.00, of which I promptly took to their office with and quot;insulting and quot; wrote on it. "I had a heavy glass shower door that was mounted into slate shower tile. The top bracket started stripping out from the wall, and I contacted Nick to re-secure the door. (This was after I had already spoken with several contractors whom were either not comfortable or interested in doing the job or just pushed me aside.) Nick promptly called Sunday evening to discuss the project and came out Tuesday to look at the door. We discussed a plan and he came back out the following day to do the job. He was very professional and his work was outstanding. Instead of trying to sell me a new door or a new tile-job in the shower (both of which would have been very pricey), he was able to conservatively fix the issue. Would definitely hire again."

"For months, occasionally, there would be a puddle of water on my basment floor from inches to feet in from the wall. I have a HydoFlo drain tile system installed from a previous owner. I found that HydoFlo was no longer in business and didn't know who to go to for this problem so I called three companies for an estimate. The first company didn't even come out, the second company said I needed all the drain tiles dug up and replaced with their tile along one wall for a total of $4,200. The third company I called was StayDry and Wayne Nichols came out. He had been the owner of HydroFlo, who had gone out of business, and said they service the HydroFlo system. He immediately noticed that I didn't have a tile leak, but that I had a plumbing leak from above. Why I didn't notice that nor others who looked at it, specifically the guy who gave me the $4,200 estimate, I have no idea.  Wayne suggested I have two additional clean-out drains put in (I needed only one) and then flush out all drains to make sure the water was flowing through the drains properly.
I saw StayDry on Angie's list and decided to call them too and was so happy I did, especially because they service HydroFlo systems.
