"Excellent folks, they know their business. Very efficient, owner was very easy to work with. A crew of three and everyone worked no standing around. As stated above they removed a very large oak tree that had fallen on our rental house without any new damage to the house. Wonderful! We have another unbelievable huge tree that will be removed in the future and Myers Landscape and Tree Service will be the company we call. Thank You --- Myers Landscape and Tree Service"

"The pergola is gorgeous and it perfectly matches the style of our house. Even our neighbors are impressed and have asked for their contact information for projects around their homes! Connie and Greg Thompson run a tight ship and everything is done to their exacting standards. Greg is obsessed with perfection and had his team recut wood/stone etc until he was happy with the result. He basically treats your project as if he was working on his own home. My husband and I watched in amazement as we could not believe the level to which he focused on even the smallest detail. He and his team were ALWAYS on time, polite, and cleaned up after themselves everyday. Connie keeps you posted on the arrival of the subs and is available all of the time (to include the weekends) to answer any questions. She and Greg keep on top of everyone's work and inspect for quality control. This project and their professionalism exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed that we will not use anyone else for future projects."

"5 stars is not enough for Carson and his company! 4 of my neighbors moved on a steep bluff overlooking the lake, but we couldn’t see the lake through the trees and overgrown brush. Carson worked with all the neighbors to make sure everyone was happy with the scope of the project. He and his workers were professional and extremely knowledgeable about irrigation, erosion, the major equipment needed and how to drop the gigantic trees on a dime!! They pay attention to detail and left the job immaculately clean! I can’t say enough great things about this company! Great communication and they exceeded our expectations by working earlier and later every day of the project. Outstanding 5 star company from start to finish!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Brierfield, AL

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
