"M&E ruined our brand new and very expensive deck because of the inferior product they recommended as a "stain". Within months the product began bubbling, cracking, and peeling. And the stain job was never right from day one...M&E and their workers seemed puzzled by how many coats it took to complete the job, which took longer than expected, and still there remained some areas that were unevenly stained. And, no prep work whatsoever (sanding etc.) was done. Then the cracking began, and now the stain even brushes off with the simple sweep of a broom. It is clear that the wood was not stained, but more like painted. We located a detailed evaluation of this product which concluded "Benjamin Moore’s Arborcoat is prone to peeling in cold weather states...and did not perform well on a newly built deck". It was also stated that within months "the Arborcoat had peeled significantly on the brand-new pine deck. Patches of the finish had peeled off the wood in strips. You could peel back large sections of stain with your fingers. The product did not seem to have penetrated into the wood at all." M&E initially responded by coming back on two separate occasions to paint over the areas that had peeled away, which was completely ineffective and did nothing to prevent future deterioration. M&E offered to come out a third time, which we initially declined. As matters continued to worsen, we contacted M&E once more, upon which they responded "You left this issue to get worse and not be addressed when we were willing to address it, and due to this, that issue is now between you and the manufacturer". M&E, I'm sure if you had come out a third time, our problems would be magically solved? So I guess it's our fault now. We trusted M&E to recommend the right product for the job, based on their experience, but they failed, and now we will have to pay another company thousands more $$ to refinish the deck using a suitable stain, since M&E has not offered to do so. Or, maybe I should be thanking M&E for going beyond the call of duty to come up and paint over a few cracked spots, since they do not warranty decks. Lesson learned and buyer beware! "Woke up today to find an invoice from Denver Gutter Cleaning for services performed on 11/6/25. I did get a text from them at 11:24am that day stating they would arrive within a few minutes to one hour. By 3PM they were still a no show so I called Denver Gutter and Ernie answered. Ernie said his records show they did complete our service this morning. I told him I have pictures of full gutters so then he said maybe they had trouble finding you house. He said he would re-schedule, however, this is the 2nd and possibly 3rd time in the last few years the same thing happened with the same excuses. I said I did not want to re-schedule until someone from management calls me. I did miss a call at 7:36am the next day and another from Jason at 10:40am who said he woudl call right back. No such call and then the invoice for work never done. I do not suspect any foul play just poor management and an out of control company. I have the pictures with dates and times to back up my complaint but unfo"

"The main reason for calling them was two jobs involving some height and difficult access -- reattaching a roof fascia that was coming off and creating a new interior window frame for a new skylight (turned out that the roofers who installed skylights did not do anything interior!). Both of these went quickly and well. As did a small job installing a valve in a shower line. However there were problems with the next item on the list (we felt we were committed to paying for an entire afternoon.) This was installing a new light fixture -- something we generally do ourselves if the location is accessible. Turned out the guy who came is afraid of electricity because he recently experienced a bad shock. Initially he wanted to turn off all the electricity in the house. Although we talked him out of that and worked with him to find the circuit breaker that turned off the appropriate circuit, it was in a dark hallway and we did not closely supervise the work. And he was in a hurry because they had told him he had to go on to pick up doors for another job the next day. Although he had been very careful to check every step of the way on every other job, he did not on this last one. And afterwards we found that this unusual fixture (two light track arms extending from a base) had been installed improperly so the arms could not be unfolded and extended. We had to take it down and reinstall it ourselves. We requested a small reduction in the charge, half of the time attributable to this job because we felt responsibility for the problem was shared, and that request was granted."

Howdy Neighbor!!!\n Folks around here call me "Cowboy Jim" (Owner of Perfection Coating & Handyman Services, LLC). I am based out of Johnstown, Colorado but I will travel almost ANYWHERE for the right opportunity.\n\n My Primary specialty is Interior/Exterior Painting, Refinishing or Refubishing Decks or Fences, or Deck & Fence repair. However, I AM and ALWAYS have been a HANDYMAN!!! (35 years experience).\n\n I am fully Licensed and Insured (2 million Dollars of Liability for every property that I or my crew works on).\n\n On ALL of my projects I extend a 2 year waranty that is fully transferable to any new owneships.\n\n I can also accept ALL major credit cards to possibly help you schedule your projects easier.\n\n This time of the year with the added pressure of our economy and the holidays, many companies are offering reasonable discounts for their services. Although this may be attractive to most people, I have found that too many shortcuts are taken when you discount your services too much. I will NEVER claim to be the cheapest in the industry!!! However, my prices are fair, and below market standards. I will NEVER trade off my PERFECTIONIST ways for a lower price. I am a man of GREAT integrity and HONOR. I think that we can all agree that is a rare thing these days.\n\n I am prompt, reliable, EXTREMELY neat and organized, detail oriented to a fault at times, and I often take that extra step to take care of something that my customers were not expecting.\n\n I know many people have delayed painting the EXTERIOR of their homes or structures the past 3 seasons. However......It's NOT TOO LATE to paint your exteriors. I primarily use Sherwin Williams paints that are designed to be used as low as 35 degrees, and up to 85 degrees. These paints have a minimum of a 15 year gurantee as well.\n\n As far as interior painting, I use ZERO V.O.C. Paints. We can match any color, and even give you some interior design ideas. \n\nPricing can vary from project to project. It is always best to estimate this is person. My estimates are ALWAYS free of charge!!!\n Some projects that I do are done as an hourly rate (Most Handyman Services are priced this way) My hourly rate for SMALL projects are $60.00 for the first hour, an $40.00 for each additional hour, PLUS any material costs. I DO NOT mark up materials like most companies either!!! I only charge you what I pay for those materials, and those are usually discounted due to my contractor status.\n\n Painting prices average at about $300.00 for an average INTERIOR bedroom, and EXTERIOR painting AVERAGES at about $2,200.00. Please keep in mind that these are AVERAGE Prices. \n\nPlease feel free to call me at: 970-593-8282 for a FREE estimate! (I prefer phone calls over undependable emails.)\n\n Lastly, I literally have HUNDREDS of references and pictures that I can provide to you BEFORE we even meet for an appointment. (I DO NOT pre-screen my references either.)\n\n I greatly look forward to working for you and your family.\n\n Have a great day, and KEEP ON SMILING!!!\n\n COWBOY JIM\n\n PERFECTION COATING & HANDYMAN SERVICES, LLC\n\n 970-593-8282

Let me tell you a little bit about us. I am Seth Kuddes, owner of United Window Cleaning. When I graduated from CSU (Go Rams!) with a degree in Business Management it was time for my dreams of being an entrepreneur to be put in motion. I launched United Window Cleaning in the summer of 2007 as a local, family-owned window washing business, and it continues to operate that way. My ongoing desire is to create a thriving window cleaning company that is operated with integrity, marked by professional excellence, and carried out with friendliness. In just a few years we have expanded to cover Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Greeley, and all the surrounding areas! And because of you, our customers, we are also expanding our services to include gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and screen repair/replacement. As the business has grown, so has my family! In March of 2008 I married my creative, fun-loving wife, Jessica. Our son Josiah was born in 2010, our sweet daughter, Hope, arrived in 2013, we adopted our second son, Jonah in 2015 and last but not least we had one more beautiful daughter, Hannah in 2016. Jessi loves being a full-time mom and also helps me run the business behind the scenes. As a family, we attend Mountain View Community Church and lead a small group in our home. We love mountain adventures, arts of all kinds (I’m a photographer and Jessi is a painter), traveling the world, and reading together. We also love getting to know new people, so we look forward to meeting you!

"Trent, Mike, and Shane were amazing. They are very easy to work with - very polite, they were there when they said they would be, they asked questions regarding the paint job if they had them, and they made sure everything went smoothly. Great service. If I had another painting job, I would absolutely call Sioux Painting first."
