"After much research on the web, including Angie’s List and the Oregon CCB, I hired Oregon Ducts, Inc. in May 2021 to clean the furnace ducts in my 15 year old Wilsonville home. I was not disappointed in Oregon Duct’s work. Steve - the owner - was the best: knowledgeable, skilled, hardworking, and just a darn nice person! I know from my research that a lot of companies use just a shop vac, brush, and sometimes an air compressor to clean ducts. I’m a hardcore do-it-yourselfer, so I was really curious how Steve would go about this project. He had lots of specialized equipment (and he used different techniques) to clean the branch and main supply ducts, return ducts, and furnace plenum, and his whole truck is a huge and powerful vacuum cleaner. "Our smoke alarms had gone off and we traced the problem to the clothes dryer.  We found that prior owners had installed a very long dryer vent duct with several bends.  That ducting had become very clogged and led to internal clogging in our dryer as well. We checked Angie's List and settled upon Aeroflux, whom we called on Monday morning.  Eric, the owner, answered the phone and made an appointment with us for 3:00pm the next afternoon, advising that he might be able to arrive a bit earlier. He actually arrived 30 minutes early and wasted no time.  He inspected the dryer and found severe lint impaction inside.  He also checked the ducting and found very low airflow.  There were no plans for the ducting so Eric traced it through crawlspaces, separated the ducting in several places and set up his brush and vacuum. It took him about two and a half hours to clean the ducting run then he went to work on the dryer, which took about 20 minutes.  Despite the difficulty and length of the job, Eric stuck with his initial rate of $75.00 for the job. Eric worked continuously and cleanly.  He took care to minimize spillage of the lint and carefully cleaned up after himself. Eric's work was meticulous and effective: everything is clean and perfectly reassembled.  (We are amazed at the improvement in the dryer's performance.)  He, himself, is polite and well-spoken.  He was considerate of our visiting toddler and all of our pets. We have already engaged him for some unrelated vent work to be performed next week. We will be regular, recurring customers of his."

"Jared vacuumed all the ducts while using his tools to loosen the dust and hair and get it vacuumed out. There was a duct that had some substance spilled in it and he wiped it all out and there was another duct where the speculation is that a cat urinated into it. Jared did a special job of cleaning that duct and there is no smell left."

"After asking my heating and cooling man if he could recommend a good duct cleaning service, I was told Meyer Duct Cleaning was a very good and reputable company that does the job right. He said that is the only company he would use and now I know why. The company I had used several years ago never came into my house the man cleaned everything straight from the furnace in the garage. The owner Rod Meyer and his assistant Kyle went to every vent and duct in my house and thoroughly cleaned each one. They also went and sprayed a sanitizing solution into each vent. At first I was cautious of doing this because of the possible odor, but it turned out not to be an issue. They also cleaned my dryer vent and Rod even went into the crawl space to make sure the dryer vent was working properly. Kyle his assistant had pulled out the dryer to check things out and kindly offered to vacuum up the dust behind it and even used a rag to wipe the floor. This was greatly appreciated since I couldn't do it myself. They were here for about an hour and 45 minutes and did a wonderful job at a fair price. Rod was very knowledgeable and he and Kyle were on time, helpful, friendly and professional as was Diane the office manager. Because I like things to be done well, this is the company I will be using from now on. I can highly recommend Meyer Duct Cleaning."
