Vacuums were on <br>almost all the time for further safety. Different electric tools were used <br>for different tasks to minimize damage to the windows. The outcome <br>is fantastic! "Michael is in great demand and let me know that he would work my smaller project into his schedule when he had time.  He has been great about keeping in touch and let me know a couple weeks ahead when he had a window in his schedule.  He called me today, the planned day for the work to let me know they were on their way.  Michael and his great team replaced a rotted back door jamb with a custom made composite jamb, floor plate and trim.  They also installed a custom made maple backsplash in the kitchen.  They also found a creative fix for some open areas above the foundation in my 1926 cottage where rodents could get in.  Lastly, they installed new house numbers.  The last two items were added to the planned work and they were so flexible and open to doing these extra things.  Their craftsmanship is excellent, and  they work well and efficiently together.  Michael is such a nice guy and a great communicator.   The quality of his work is excellent  and I think his pricing is very reasonable.  Michael and his crew did another carpentry project for me a couple months ago that included replacing all of the window trim pieces around three large windows on a three story side of my house and repaired a hole in the house at the peak of the gable where a flicker had done damage.  They also did some carpentry on an outside stair case.  I would hire him again without question and highly recommend his work. <br />"

"<p>As part of a larger remodel and repair operation, our contractor installed a new front door purchased from Home Depot. The install was not properly aligned and would not close or seal properly. The contractor did a great job in other areas such as framing, siding, deck building etc., but properly installing and aligning a door is a special skill that not everyone has. It is hard to find a real door hanger but after a search we found Tom. He was able to take apart and reinstall the sash and door and we now have a beautifully operating and sealed front door. "Ed and his grandson Ryan transformed our deck from old and dilapidated to new and beautiful. I'm certain that our deck currently looks better than when it was originally built. Ed also poured a concrete slab next to the deck where a future hot tub will go. We're very happy with the finished product and have even talked with Ed about replacing an upper deck on our home. His price was great and we feel like we got a good deal considering the beautiful work. The installed steps are built so debris doesn't constantly gather underneath like the previous deck. We will definitely hire Ed again."
