"The screened-in covered porch attached to the back of my house had shown signs of leaking for awhile. This February, however, there were several storms that brought with them high winds and heavy rain. My porch?s small leaks became greater in number and magnitude.    Jim, from W.J.C. Construction Services, came over that same day and assessed the damage to the porch roof. He gave me quotes to either  1. just repair and replace the leaking  shingles, or 2. replace the entire porch roof. He explained the first choice would stop the leaks where they were visible, but that it might not correct the cause of the leaking. Choice #2 was to replace the entire roof.     I considered both options and chose to have him replace the entire roof. I am very glad I did. As he worked taking the old shingles off, he saw that the original roofing on the porch was not up to code. Had I chosen to have him just reshingle the original leaking ares, I would still be left with a roof that would leak again."

"Steve (owner) immediately returned my initial call, was out to do the estimate the next day, and completed the work the morning after that.  He and his partner did a beautiful job.  They were friendly and professional, and I was so impressed with their work.  Everything came up so clean, from the rain gutters to the aluminum siding to the concrete just beneath it at the base of the house.  The sidewalk is a completely different color now!  And they even pressure washed the straw doormat I had on the front porch!  I've made arrangements for them to return in the late fall or early spring (when the trees aren't dropping so much stuff) to pressure wash, protect, and paint my deck.  Steve talked with me about deck protection and the product he recommends using and provided me with a chart of color samples.
I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs pressure washing.  I felt like their performance, in every respect, was flawless.

"I can only say great things about JA Drywall. We had quite a complicated chimney repair. From the beginning of the process, this company stood out from all the others. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. They did a wonderful job, kept the site clean and tidied up once job completed. "Pat and his team were, by and large, fantastic. They executed on all aspects of the original quote flawlessly. The ribbon pointing around the stonework, especially in the front part of the house, turned out very nice. We're extremely happy with how the masonry looks. It went so smoothly, we added additional work onto the quote to seal the concrete and touch up paint along the exterior of the house. The painting wasn't as neat or clean as it could have been - it's probably a little step above what I could have done. Mostly importantly, when we encountered a couple of problems along the way, they were responsive and went above and beyond to sort it out. I think they approached the whole project very well, and even worked with us on the price for the add-ons. All-in-all, super solid work from a super solid contractor. Highly recommended."

"Dana and his crew did quality work for a reasonable price. I reached out to numerous places for an estimate. He was one of the few who actually showed up to give me an estimate and one of even fewer who actually followed through with a written estimate. He took the time to answer questions, make suggestions, and provide a timeline of when the work could begin and end. It was clear from the start that Dana cares about his clients and wants to make them happy. He stayed in communication throughout the project and was always just a text or phone call away. Throughout the remodel, he pointed things out, provided suggestions, and even changed things after we changed our mind (Thanks for relocating that door). He was always on time and let us know who would be there and when. Besides the great work that Dana did, what really separates him from the rest is his honesty. There were a couple of occasions where he could have passed on some additional cost to me for some unexpected things during the renovation but he did not. I know that probably doesn’t paint a clear picture but all you need to know is that he is honest. Honest, hardworking, stays in communication and does great work. Not sure what more you can ask for. He will be our first call when we are ready to remodel our bathroom! And if you happen to have a German shepherd, Dana and your dog will become best of friends. Our dog still misses him!"

"A complete and thorough power washing was completed the day prior to the painting. Then the next day a team came and worked all morning and afternoon painting the entire house using high quality Sherwin Williams elastomeric paint. I could not have been happier with how my house now looks and it was all done at a very reasonable price."

"John and Nick were very responsive to requests and were always punctual and worked 6 days a week for months to finish our job. They came back multiple times to finish “punch list” items including caulking, trim, and paint touch ups. Sometimes I had to be involved in problem solving some of the hiccups that arose but often John and Nick also came with solutions to problems. Sometimes John and Nick informed us after the fact that something we asked them to do was “extra” so I would recommend establishing early and clearly to have change orders or confirmations of changes that cost extra, but even still for the work they did they completed and the quality we think the price was reasonable and fair. 


Now we are in our beautiful new home and are so so happy with what we have gotten thanks to John and Nick at JJ Construction- we couldn’t be happier and would recommend them for any job.
