He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to steer us in the right direction for what we wanted done. And the finished product is amazing! It’s like a whole new deck!"

"We requested assistance from Rob for a garage-to-house door repair and ended up engaging him for several jobs as he seemed knowledgeable and able to assist with a variety of tasks such as fixing a leaking pipe, repairing the wall and baseboard, and building floor to ceiling shelving in our furnace room to help with more efficient basement storage in addition to touching up paint and providing advice on which methods were most cost effective to achieve the desired outcome. "Steve (owner) immediately returned my initial call, was out to do the estimate the next day, and completed the work the morning after that.  He and his partner did a beautiful job.  They were friendly and professional, and I was so impressed with their work.  Everything came up so clean, from the rain gutters to the aluminum siding to the concrete just beneath it at the base of the house.  The sidewalk is a completely different color now!  And they even pressure washed the straw doormat I had on the front porch!  I've made arrangements for them to return in the late fall or early spring (when the trees aren't dropping so much stuff) to pressure wash, protect, and paint my deck.  Steve talked with me about deck protection and the product he recommends using and provided me with a chart of color samples.
I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs pressure washing.  I felt like their performance, in every respect, was flawless.

They came on time as scheduled for both the quote (which was very fair for the work that needed done) and actual work start date. The work they did looks amazing, and they took care to make the new sections of mortar have the same style as the old sections on our beautiful Victorian. "LaRosa was cooperative and reasonable throughout all conversations and planning including working around a few certain issues (unrelated to the contractor but related to the property). The price (especially compared to larger companies for the same work) was comfortably within my budget and feels appropriate for the amount of work done. The work itself was professional, feels super sturdy, and looks great. It passed inspection with only minimal and negligible concerns (because that's the inspector's job afterall). The one thing I'll have to bring up that makes this a 4-star is that demolition of the old deck was not properly cleaned up and my downstair's neighbor's porch is directly beneath my deck, so what happened was the saw dust was unwittingly tracked through his house and over his new flooring. My neighborhood's homes have a rather unique configuration, so I imagine LaRosa is used to cleaning up last day, but it still meant I had to do the neighborly thing and take care of the dust myself (neighbors' are retired and I'm in my 30s, so I was happy to do it). Just something to keep in mind. I'd still highly recommend LaRosa for the otherwise solid performance and professionalism."

"John and Nick were very responsive to requests and were always punctual and worked 6 days a week for months to finish our job. They came back multiple times to finish “punch list” items including caulking, trim, and paint touch ups. Sometimes I had to be involved in problem solving some of the hiccups that arose but often John and Nick also came with solutions to problems. Sometimes John and Nick informed us after the fact that something we asked them to do was “extra” so I would recommend establishing early and clearly to have change orders or confirmations of changes that cost extra, but even still for the work they did they completed and the quality we think the price was reasonable and fair. 


Now we are in our beautiful new home and are so so happy with what we have gotten thanks to John and Nick at JJ Construction- we couldn’t be happier and would recommend them for any job.
