"We were extremely pleased and satisfied with the services performed by Two By Four Construction. When I moved into my home in 2015, the knee high wall door was an eye sore!!! The builder recommended doubled sided tape to hold it in place! Needless to say that was short lived. I wanted to get it repaired but was particular about what I wanted to it to look like. Long story short I submitted an inquiry November 2020 and Mr. Gary Stannard and his team responded and came to our rescue! I've included before and after photos. Absolutely love the finished product!!!"

"Great Experience – Highly Recommend Power House Home Improvement provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. He was patient, responsive to my questions, and flexible with scheduling. He arrived as planned, and when we had to reschedule due to a broken furniture part I discovered during unboxing, he was completely understanding. Once the replacement part arrived, he responded quickly and returned to complete the job. The entire furniture assembly was finished in under two hours and done efficiently and professionally. I would absolutely use him again and highly recommend his services."

"I had a very good experience with Shower Door King. Tracey was professional. She gave me the certificate of insurance and receipt of payment when I requested them. The showroom was impressive. The installers were very nice. I now have a really beautiful shower door! I highly recommend this company."

"I had been putting off replacing an original sliding door in our home for a long time. Since we never had a deck, we never had a need to use that door therefore no point in replacing it. This year we had a new deck built and decided it was finally time to replace that original sliding door. I was referred to Thompson Creek by friends and co-workers. They were great to work with. They did not pressure us to buy now. They presented their offer, came out to take measurements and came out when they promised to perform the installation. We couldn't be happier with our new door. After a week of having our new door installed we also noticed that we are not heating the house as much as we used to - which saves us money! Thank you Thompson Creek!"

"We've used Reliant Assembly on many occasions. Kenny does a terrific job. He's versatile and easy to work with. He even put up about 20 feet of outside fencing for us, which was a kind of job he doesn't normally do. Nonetheless, he did excellent work. We strongly recommend Reliant Assembly."

"I don?t really know how to rate DS Patterson, because my experience with Julie, who runs the office, was A+, and my eventual experience with the owner, David, was A+ as well.   I wish I could rate them separately from Hugo, the person who did the work.   <br /> Before I go into details below, I want to emphasize that in the end the owner (David) offered to let me pay only the amount that I thought was fair for the job, given all the problems I had.  I thought this was incredibly generous on his part.  I was willing to pay $800 of the original $1025 initial bid, so obviously I was fine with most of the work that was done.  <br /> In mid-May, I contacted DS Patterson for an estimate on three things:  drywall repair on my master bedroom closet; painting a hall bathroom, and drywall and painting for a garage wall.  Julie in the office was a pleasure to deal with, both on the phone and via email.  <br /> Hugo came and gave an estimate.  I asked him to break down the estimate to specifics, and it was $675 for the closet and garage drywall repair; $125 for bathroom painting; and $225 for garage wall painting.   <br /> I thought the estimate was very reasonable and I liked Hugo, so I sent in my deposit, and contacted Julie for scheduling.  At that point she told me there would be a 4 week delay in scheduling.  When I told her I was disappointed because she had initially said 2 weeks, she told me that they had an unexpected large job come up.  However, she offered to check with Hugo to see if he would do the job over evenings and weekends so he could come sooner, which I thought was really nice.   <br /> Hugo came and did the master bedroom closet drywall, which came out great.  He painted the hall bathroom, which was adequate, but not great.  The problem came with the garage wall.  I think because he was working evenings and weekends on our job, he tried to rush the garage wall.  Coordinating our schedules was difficult and I think he was too eager to be done with the job.  On one rainy night, in four hours, he put on two coats of kilz primer and two coats of white paint.  He told me he was finished, and I was shocked when I came out to the garage.  It looked terrible, the color was uneven, the wall looked striped with beige and white.  I gave him a check for the full amount but told him I was extremely disappointed.  Instead of taking responsibility, he gave excuses?it was because the drywall was old and because I wanted white paint (neither of which he mentioned as potential problems when he gave the estimate).    The next day I called the kilz primer company.  They said you need to wait a minimum of several hours between each coat of kilz and each coat of paint in dry conditions.  (Hugo had done all 4 coats in 4 hours under rainy conditions). <br /> Hugo also did a poor job with the drywall in the garage, with gouges, bumps, and missed areas. <br /> I wrote to Julie about my concerns.  In the end Hugo came back to fix the drywall in the garage.   That time he did a perfectly fine job on the drywall.  He still made excuses about how the paint job came out, again blaming the age of the drywall, the paint color I chose, and the fact that I wanted latex and not oil paint.   When I pressed him that it was his role to tell me these issues at the time of the estimate, he finally admitted it was his fault.  As I noted above, David, the owner, said I only had to pay whatever I thought was fair, and I paid for everything but the garage wall painting. <br /> Eventually my husband re-did the painting job, following the manufacturer?s instructions for waiting time between coats of primer and coats of paint.  It looked great.  The problems had nothing at all to do with the age of the drywall or the paint color; it was because Hugo rushed the job. <br /> If you look at other reviews on Angie?s list, you?ll see my experience was atypical (although there is one other reviewer who thought they did a better job on drywall and not a great job on painting).  I think Julie is incredibly nice, and David?s offer was extremely generous.  I would suggest if you do use them that you do not use Hugo for painting.   <br /> <br /> <br />"
