"Fantastic experience. Everyone I worked with was great. Job had a few surprises as most construction jobs have, but the team at Nations Best worked with me to figure out a solution within my budget. Would absolutely hire them again and have recommended them to friends and family."

"Yes I have worked with Fernando several times on projects. He has always went above and beyond to make things right. Any time I have a question he is there with an answer. The most important thing to me is his communication he always responds back to my calls or answers. That gives me comfort every time I call him. When he says he is going to do get it done he is there and never has excuses. I would recommend him anytime to anyone. He is very professional."

"I had them come out and look at my roof. They told me I needed the shingles replaced. Also the decking ripped up and replace with new decking. I agreed to the contract for the price of removing the shingles and the decking and replacing with new decking instead what I got Was decking put over my old decking because they said nothing was wrong with it. Once they got the shingles off they did not lower the price of tearing off the new decking nor did they replace or let me know that the facia boards that they nailed to was rotted. Now I have to have another Professional come out and remove the work. They done on my home and install facia boards before I can get it painted a professional that I am hiring told me that the flashing should?ve never been nailed to the Rottenwood and I should be in a made aware of it, and also, the price should?ve been lower since they did not have to remove the decking , and they added way to my roof by double decking "

FAQs for natural slate roofing repair projects in Broken Arrow, OK

If more than 30% of your slate roof is damaged, it's time to consider a full replacement. This will prevent further deterioration and avoid costly recurring repairs. A professional slate inspection (costing between $130 and $360) can confirm whether repairs are sufficient or if a full roof replacement is the better option.

A slate roof can last anywhere from 60 to 150 years, depending on factors like installation quality, regular maintenance and repairs, and local weather conditions. Compared to materials like clay and concrete, which often last around 50 years, a well-maintained slate roof offers superior longevity, durability, and long-lasting aesthetic appeal.

Yes, you can use temporary patch solutions, such as roofing cement or patchwork, to provide immediate relief for minor leaks or underlayment issues observed from inside your home. However, these provisional fixes do not replace the need for a permanent, professional exterior repair, which is necessary to ensure the long-term integrity and weather resistance of your slate roof.
