commercial and residential services to the Oklahoma City metro area since 2005. From new construction and remodeling to residential repair, we can handle jobs of all sizes. Red Plains Plumbing offers emergency repair services and will respond quickly to better prevent further damage. We take pride in delivering excellent customer service and are determined to complete every job in a timely and efficient manner. Additional email: redplainsplumbing@yahoo.com

"Some guys from Red Plains Plumbing came out to clear a slow washer drain but they just managed to get their snake stuck in my washer standpipe. Instead of apologizing and figuring out how to fix it, they claimed that this happened because of my drain and they would have to go straight to digging up the sewer line for $7,000 to $10,000! I told them I would not be doing that and asked for other options so they said a supervisor would call me back and left, abandoning their snake in my drain which was now completely clogged and backed up into my washer and kitchen sink... Fast forward through a couple of days of frantic calls to Red Plains which they didn't even bother returning and I called another plumber for emergency service. They were NOT complimentary and let me know the snake should not have been put through the washer standpipe and its four 90 degree turns, should never have been forced in until it knotted up, and after they removed it that Red Plains had used the wrong kind of head on the snake which was broken off inside the drain! What was just a slow drain was now a serious issue and I had spent over $700 but was much worse off than I started! I want to support small businesses like Red Plains because they're supposed to care more about their customers. Unfortunately with Red Plains, they weren't able to provide the resources, professionalism, and knowledge that a larger company would. Their office manager called and tried to help figure out a way forward but must have been overruled because a return visit to fix the problem lasted less than 15 minutes and Red Plains sent me an email saying there was nothing they could do. When I tried to find out what happened (again leaving many messages with no return calls) they just told me I should go with another plumber! Following their advice, I called a larger, more reputable company and what a difference it made! In less than the time it took Red Plains to get their snake stuck and block up my drain, the experienced plumbers found exactly where the head of the snake was lodged in the Y with a nearby floor drain, sent a camera down the floor drain to look at what it would take to remove the stoppage, and cleared the stoppage through a nearby cleanout that the Red Plains plumbers had just ignored! Instead of defaulting to the most destructive (and expensive) option, the new plumber had the tools and experience to correctly diagnose the problem and figure out a way to fix it where Red Plains couldn't. To cap it all off, Red Plains flatly refused to refund the charges for their "drain cleaning" which started this mess (be careful with all the fine print they put in their invoices which make you wave their liability for damages they do) so this was a costly lesson for me. In the end, what it comes down to is that you want to work with a company who will do what they say they will and help you even after they make a mistake. Based on what happened to me, I want to warn everyone that company is not Red Plains Plumbing. If you're considering hiring them then I hope the same thing doesn't happen to you too!"

We have been in business for 20 years.

"I decided to use this business because someone mentioned it on an online review that they are affordable. They probably had friends and family write the reviews for them. Because they are NOT affordable at all! Stay as far away as possible! I called them to fix a small/very minor and common pipe leak in the wall and they charged me $388.72!! It was such a simple leak and small leak it should have been around $200 to fix the leak. They did not give me an estimate of how much it would cost to fix it before they started working on it. They charged me for 3 1/2 hours to fix the pipe. When it only took him 2 hours to fix it at the most! That is 1 1/2 hours of being overcharged! They also charged me 1 hour ($105) to go get the parts!! The parts are the most common parts that a plumber would have! It is not my fault he came to my house unprepared - I told him about the leak before he showed up! That is outrageous to charge me for that!! They should have had the parts in their truck because that is the most common household parts that every plumber has in their truck, except them! And it should have never took him 2 1/2 hours to fix such a minor issue!! The guy was super slow and dragged out the whole process to charge me more since he charges by the hour and not by the job, which they did not disclose to me at all until after he finished. He charged $105 per hour on a Monday at 2pm! That is an outrageous amount for a daytime plumber. And the total cost of the materials was only $21.22! I called them and asked for a refund for the 1 hour it took them to go get the parts because I should not be charged for his unpreparedness, but the owner will not return my phone calls or voicemails. I also went to their location to discuss this with the owner and to show him my receipt and they are not at a physical location (which is a major red flag)! I tried to give them a chance to make things right, but they refuse to so by dodging me - which is another red flag, so if you had an issue later on with their work, they will be long gone and you will be out more money. The red pipe in the picture is the area they fixed, and I should have not been charged almost $400 to fix!! I tried to help out a small local company, but it was an expensive lesson learned. They are the worst plumbing company I have ever dealt with! Please stay away from them and use a different, more reputable, company. Shame on them, this is not how you run a business!"

FAQs for solar panel installation projects in Broken Arrow, OK

The physical construction phase typically requires two to four months following the receipt of all necessary approvals. At the same time, the entire development process from initial concept to operation generally spans three to five years. Factors affecting the timeline include site conditions, workforce size, and project scope. The majority of the development period involves securing regulatory approvals, completing environmental studies, and establishing utility interconnection agreements.

Developing a solar farm requires an average of $400,000 to $500,000 per acre for equipment and installation, excluding property acquisition expenses. Based on industry averages, a six-acre installation typically supports one megawatt of capacity, capable of powering roughly 164 homes. Project economics vary significantly depending on whether land must be purchased or leased, with substantial regional variations in property values.

A solar installation can generate an average of $14,000 to $40,000 annually per megawatt, with variations based on electricity rates and contract terms. Annual maintenance expenses of approximately $15,000 per megawatt must be factored into financial projections. Most facilities operate under long-term agreements spanning 15 to 25 years, providing revenue stability throughout the project lifecycle.

A 20-acre property can support a viable commercial solar installation. Based on industry averages, this area could accommodate approximately three to five megawatts of capacity, sufficient to power 600 to 1,000 residences. This scale falls within the commercial solar farm category, offering enough capacity to achieve reasonable economies of scale while remaining manageable for smaller developers or community-based projects.
