"Steve was amazing. Having not had the air ducts cleaned for around 10 yrs I was worried that they would be in pretty rough shape. Amazingly not. The dryer vent cleaning was another story. The dryer had build up over time that the vent sensor was coming on all of the time. As the duct work was installed in an unusual method to begin with, Steve managed to piece it apart and resolve the clogs at the pinch points. Amazing service and professionalism from start to finish."

"After Lowe's came to clean the dyer vents at my condo building, my dryer was no longer venting. I contacted them and initially they said they would send someone to check the vent. They then called back and said my vent was never clean because it was disconnected and they could not help me. This was strange because the dryer was working fine before they came. Also, in my trash there was foil tape that you would wrap around the vent. This made me think that they did try to clean the vent despite saying they did nothing. I contacted my management company who said there were never any previous issues with my vent. I called Lowe's back and told them this and they still insisted that they never touched it but would check with the technician. I looked into it my self and found that in the section of the vent between the dryer and the ceiling there was a mass of lint the size of a small animal (see the picture). It was so large that moisture from the dryer had also built up and flooded the bottom of the vent hose. The building manager was then able to clear another mass of lint from the section of the vent in the ceiling and the dryer then started venting to the outside. It was never disconnected like Lowe's said. It seems they started cleaning it and just jammed the dust all the way back to the dryer. Why they didn't finish removing it is a mystery. If they ever service my building again, I will refuse."

"Lance was great. He cleaned the part of the duct that the last company missed (check vent light went on with first load of laundry right after last company left each time). He also pointed out that our vent hardware on the outside was the wrong kind and allowed wind to blow link into the dryer heating element and was a fire hazard. He replaced it for pretty cheap. Highly recommend him."

They were very professional, and worked hard. What a wonderful job they did! They took away all the old bricks, and cleaned up after complete. Our chimney looks fantastic. "Berry Mechanical installed a $10K HVAC system a little over 4 years ago. They are one of only 3 American Standard dealers listed in my area on the American Standard site. All are roughly the same distance -Berry is actually second closest. They are now telling me they will no longer service it because it is too far away. I can understand if they were no longer wiling to do service calls on systems they did not install because of distance but they were more than happy to take the money for the large installation and it was fairly recent. I was paying them every year for semi-annual service and now I have to scramble to find an American standard dealer who actually will travel the same or more distance and will provide service for a system they did not install and may or may no be familiar with. Very disappointing, I can not recommend buying a system from a company that will not service what they install, especially when they are no further away than the only other 2 dealers."

"We hired Evolved to install an electric heat pump at our house in Medford in May 2021. Although there were a few minor hiccups during installation (their truck did some minor damage to our house, and the tech tried to install the outdoor unit on a plastic base rather than the concrete pad included in their quote) Evolved resolved both of those issues to our satisfaction and I don’t hold either honest mistake against them. The real problems came later. First: it came to light that Evolved installed our system without obtaining permits. They eventually rectified this after months of hounding. Unfortunately, I believe the excuse they gave because no one would concoct a lie that makes them sound this inept: they submitted the permit application to the wrong city, and didn’t notice that it wasn’t granted before starting work. Second, Evolved misrepresented our eligibility for the MassSave rebate program. Their quote listed an AHRI reference number which indicated that we’d be eligible for a $700 rebate, but our application for the rebate was rejected. Why? Because the equipment Evolved installed didn’t match the reference number on the quote. The SUZ-KA36NAH2 listed in the AHRI database would have been eligible, but the SUZ-KA36NAHZ they actually installed is not. Their GM has continued to insist that MassSave or the AHRI listing must be wrong (this is unfortunately not supported by any documentation from Mitsubishi), and at this point I’ve given up on getting any kind of a resolution to the rebate problem. In short, I cannot recommend Evolved on the basis of our experience, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews are frankly mind boggling. Find someone better."
