"I had two areas of concern: installed new worklights in the garage and replacing electric switches and outlets.  Jerry did a great job taking care of the needed work.  He was friendly, chatty, but stayed on task and finished the necessary assignments. 
I also had a dry rot problem; Jerry showed up early, with another worker to assist and got right to work.  He tore down (?) the infected areas, replaced the plywood, a good number of slats, and repaired the base of a support column.  He was sure to do all the finish work (caulking) and sealing where needed.  
After he finished, my only 'job' was to apply primer and then paint the new areas.  It turned out looking really good.  I was impressed with the way Jerry got to work, cleaned up when finished, and checked the work he had done to see if it was all to my safisfaction.  It was.
 I did think that the work done indoors (the electric work) was a bit high, but then Jerry charged less than expected for the outside work, thus sorta evening out the amount paid.  
Overall, I was well pleased and would not hesitate to use Jerry's services again.

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"In June of 2010 my house flooded due to a faulty toilet tank intake line.  Forever Wood Construction was there within 2 hours & begin the steps needed to start the repair of my home.  They helped me move all my belongings out of the way so they could remove the water damaged part of the walls & the damaged flooring.  They set up blowers & dehumidifiers throughout my house to dry it out so they could proceed to put it all back together.  They totally matched the texture on my walls & you can't tell that I've ever had a flood or had any portions of the walls redone!  They even fixed some long standing electrical issues for me.  Great company!  I definitely recommend this company to others."

"I planned to do board and batten wainscoting, from floor to ceiling, at my home in Vacaville. This was planned at four different locations viz. the dining area, the fireplace, the staircase and the master bedroom. I had a specific design in mind based on an YouTube inspiration and James Barbosa@JB construction was ready for the challenge. We did all the discussion over messages as I was out of station and a site visit wasnâ t possible. James clearly understood the job and gave a competitive quote. What I liked most was his attention to detail. For instance, in the inspiration picture I sent him, he found out that the wall was smooth soft and not rough texture as new home builders leave it to be. He said that to get the perfect finish that I want, he needs to add a layer of cardboard before installing wainscoting. Loved his involvement. James and his brother came up on agreed date and time. Their work was immaculate and very professional. They exactly knew what to do, they had the right tools, they were very creative to address the dozens of small problems and they were meticulous with measurement to get it perfect. This is not an easy work and requires painstaking calculations and hundreds of perfect measurements for the board and batten to appear perfect and James did it all. There were challenges to measure in the multi-landing staircase and the two small windows in master bed around which the wainscoting has to come and this required creative thinking and extra involvement to get it right. James was ready for the tough job. James got a professional painter to do the finishing and the end product is EXCELLENT. I did not want a vanilla inventory home and wanted to have a unique magic there and the wainscoting is doing the trick. Everyone who comes to my home gets a WOW when they see it. Appreciate James Barbosa for doing an exceptional job and will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking at a very professional and high quality job."
