"Finding a contractor who is highly professional and competent these days make me feel like winning the lottery -- Spencer Contracting lived up to its very high standards and our expectations.  Our master bath needed a serious makeover.  Jason Spencer and Brian Barron came to evaluate the work, took measurements and pictures, listen to our requests and made suggestions.  They came back with a detailed bid, explained every line and answered our questions thoroughly.   <br /> The work started on schedule: bathroom gutted and tiles removed (not a small feat).  The shower was totally rebuilt and I marveled at the detailed perfectionism of the project.  It was one of these rare occasions when you could go to sleep peacefully without worrying about a problem occurring in the process.  Brian was checking every phase and detail.   The workers (every single one of them) were professional and courteous, cleaning up at the end of each day.   I admired the precision of David installing tiles and with everything else he did -- he is a true perfectionist to the millimeter (amazing).  We used quartz counter tops and the installers were as amazing in professionalism. The project was finished on schedule and we still enjoy the final product.   <br /> This was a dream process and we will hire them back for any other renovation project we might have later. <br />"

"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Fabulous.  He added batting around the a/c heater where needed, put batting in the attic access door, and added blown-in insulation to entire attic (it's getting cold outside now!).  Gary was very neat - he put down tarps to protect our new wood floors.  Whole job took just under an hour.  Highly recommend him! <br />"

"Todd was recommended to us by a prominent local realtor who is a friend of ours. <br /> Todd did a great job on everything.   We thought our expensive custom door was ruined upon installation 1 1/2 years before. In addition to the doors crooked appearance, we could barely open it.  Todd identified the problem and fixed it quickly.  Now, the door looks better and opens smoothly with no extra effort.  He repaired an interior door with similar issues. <br /> Todd removed & repaired shower doors that had leaked ever since original installation 1 year before.  They look great and don't leak any more. <br /> The pantry shelves he added perfectly match existing shelves. <br /> He installed our microwave with it's kit and our matching cabinet panels--it looks good & is very sturdy. <br /> His grout work is very neat and looks great. <br /> Our house numbers are set out from the wall (not flush)--they look very cool, especially when lit up at night. <br /> All of Todd's work throughout the house is of very high quality.  He is friendly.  We will definitely hire him again and highly recommend him! <br />"

"I was refered to Bell Mechanical LLC by a fellow engineer at my plant. She went out for several bids and Bell won. She is a tough customer was very happy with their price and work. I called the office and spoke with James Bell. We made an appointment for a visit to work up an estimate. James arrived right on time and looked over both of our AC/Furnace units. He gave me a 'ball park" estimate on the spot and I had a final estimate with several different options in my email within a couple of days. The prices were good enough that we did not pursue any other bids. We arranged a date for installation and his crew was there right on time. Note that James did not request any payment until the job was completed and cleaned up. The guys finished about when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. James even stopped by to see how the job was going mid afternoon. We are very pleased with Mr. Bell and will call him out to replace our other airconditioner/furnace when the government pays me to do it again. I highly recommend Mr. Bell."

I never felt like I was being taken advantage of like several other people I've used over the years. What began as perhaps a week's job turned into several jobs due to tasks I added as well as correcting so much of bad work done by a previous contractor.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Although I think everything costs too much, I feel like his rates are most reasonable when compared to other estimates I got for the first job I hired him to do.  If you like to have your repairs or installations done meticulously, then, I'd highly recommend Sentinel Services.</p> <br />"
