"We were extremely happy with the work that was done. Each day the crew cleaned up, explained the next step and kept us informed regarding what time the next subcontractor would arrive the next day. Everyone was punctual, professional and very proficient with the job they were hired to do. We were thrilled that the whole repair job, which included sheet rocking and painting, only took a week from start to finish. And the quality of the finished product was outstanding. We highly recommend Ian Robertson and his crew at New Leaf for any construction related job you may have. <br /> <br /> In fact, we've discovered part of our deck has collapsed, again due to the abundance of snow, but are confident Ian and New Leaf Construction will be able to handle the job and will get our deck repaired in a professional and efficient way. We wouldn't call anyone else. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The repairs cost $820. I was dismayed that the repair cost was this high for a piece of equipment that was only 3 years old, and had been maintained as per recommendations. "They typically last much longer" I was told by the company, but there was no reduction in the price for the repairs. I found that the company was frequently slow to respond to phone calls, and the estimated repair time of 3-4 weeks took almost 3 months."

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house. My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats. They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house. Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough. It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway. It seemed really fast to me. The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano. We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors. Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house. They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down. A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots. We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement. We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation. While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house. The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision. Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared. Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements. We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement. We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013. It's been a long process, but well worth it. Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"<p>Before re-roofing They covered my flower beds and ground around the house, brought in a dumpster/truck and then stripped off my roof shingles. They then cut out the roof and installed 2 new Velux Roof Windows (with installation kits, screens etc.), and shingled my vacation home using water/ice barriers, soffit vents and roof vents. I specified IKO architectural roof shingles. The job required releasing and reestablishing the supports for my chimney and vent pipe </p> <p>They also protected my upstairs from dirt and dust, covering all furniture and vacuuming at the end of the job. </p> <p>The job went very well: on time, on estimate and schedule. The yard and flower beds were completely free from shingle waste or pulled nails. </p> <p>Some of the protection and clean up details were specified in the contract, but Troy's crews clean up the jobsite as a general rule.</p> <p>Now, several months later after weekly rain storms, one dumping 5-inches of rain in one night, I am completely confident that the skylights are completely weather tight. There has been absolutely no sign of any problem.</p> <p>I could not be more pleased. They came in on scope, schedule, and budget with no fuss or bother. It makes me wonder why I submitted to years tension and disappointment with other contractors.</p> <p>The job was the second major project Troy has done for me in the last two years. I'm planning another project next year. </p> <br />"

"The floors were slanted in a house I purchased. The inspector thought the foundation was stable. A contractor thought that a lot of work was needed. I called Jewett to look over the foundation and tell me what he thought was needed. Curt came and inspected all the foundations and underpinnings. He could have recommended work. Instead he thought the foundation and underpinnings were fine. He recommended a few small support additions and insulation upgrades that I can perform. I am impressed! This guy knows foundations!"

"Wow. The Kevin Niles team is so excellent. Let me explain. Kevin and his son Kevin are responsive, responsible, prompt and reasonable in value for the quality of their workmanship. They have worked on my friends house for the past number of years and she is eternally grateful for having been introduced to them. They re-built the decking area for my friend and have ongoing projects with her at this very moment with painting being one of them. As for me, I've just had more cabinets re-built and what an excellent job. Kevin the younger is almost finished with prepping, priming and painting my entire soffitt, facia and all in between. He started this project late last fall and we had to wait for better weather - here we are. Kudos to the two Kevins. Please do not hesitate to engage these great men."

"It went super fast. It took less than 2 weeks to shingle my house, and he was out working in drizzling rain, he worked when it was super hot...just kept at it until it was finished up and looking nice. Orey shows up about 8 in the morning and leaves about 4 in the afternoon and never takes a lunch break or any break really, that I noticed."
